Philip Kayode Moses, the popular producer and singer aka Pheelz, has issued a warning to former YBNL Nation signee Temmie Ovwasa, formerly known as YBNL Princess.
He warned her against “disrespecting” his name.
The ‘Finesse’ crooner gave the warning after Ovwasa accused him of carelessly misplacing a drive that contained her unreleased album while he was working as a YBNL in-house producer.
“I recorded over 25 songs, and Pheelz opened his wide mouth to tell me he misplaced the hard drive. 25 songs!!!!! [I] spent 5 years [at YBNL] and released 4 songs!” Temmie Ovwasa alleged via her Instagram story.
Pheelz denied the allegations.
On his X handle on Saturday, he wrote: “We never worked on more than 4-5 records. Hard drive lost? Lmao. Don’t ever disrespect my name. Temi Ovwasa, no bring am come my side. Cap for clout. Eyama.”
Top Nigerian producer, singer/songwriter, Phillip Kayode Moses, popularly known as Pheelz, has disclosed that he is a ladies’ man, hence the reason he sings about women.
The Finesse crooner explained that although he is a gentleman, he is not a “woman wrapper”.
He appeared on a recent episode of the F&S Uncensored audiovisual podcast hosted by Feyikemi Akin-Bankole and Simi Badiru.
He said, “I’m a ladies man. That’s why I sing about them [ladies]…I’m not a woman wrapper. I’m a ladies man. I’m a gentleman. The ladies love me. I talk good, smell good, six-foot, body built, make love good. You understand, no be indomie things. They no dey do indomie for here o. We take our time.”
Pheelz continued, “I called my fan base, The Trybe, and I love every single one of them. I love going for dates like I just take some ladies of The Trybe on a date. But I’m planning something for the guys as well…The kind of fan base I want to have, I don’t want to be away from my fans. My real fans, I want them to feel like they know me. And I want them to really know me. That’s why I take some of them on a date.”

He revealed that he borrowed the clothes he donned to perform at Davido’s O2 concert in London last year.
He disclosed that he borrowed the outfit from his former YBNL record label mate, Adekunle Gold who was also in London for the show.
The Finesse crooner revealed this on a recent episode of the F&S Uncensored audiovisual podcast hosted by Feyikemi Akin-Bankole and Simi Badiru.
He said: “I talked to Bhadest [Davido], David my visa don comot. He was like, Bro if you can take the next flight to London, take it. So, I pulled up. The same cloth I wore to the visa office. I didn’t even pack my bags or anything. As I landed in London, I knew that AG [Adekunle Gold] was there, I hit up AG like, Bro, come to save me.
“If you look at the pictures from that show, my hair was rough. I didn’t even get a haircut. My trousers was, like, short because that was AG’s cloth. I took clothes from AG.”
He said after his performance at the show, over 20 record labels reached out to him but he signed for Warner Music because it “felt like family.”
Phillip Kayode Moses, the Nigerian producer and singer, who is popularly known as Pheelz, has played down an attempt to compare him with Sarz, the iconic afrobeats producer.
An entertainment magazine paired him against Sarz via its Twitter handle and asked fans to choose the better producer which didn’t sit well with Pheelz.
Angered by the comparison, the Finesse crooner stated categorically that Sarz is his mentor.
He said Sarz doesn’t deserve the disrespect of being compared to him.
He insisted that the veteran producer deserves accolades.
Pheelz tweeted, “Sarz is my goat, give that man his flowers abeg.”

Superstar Nigerian producer, singer and songwriter, Phillip Kayode Moses, popularly known as Pheelz, has disclosed that he started music production at 12.
He disclosed this in a recent interview with Hot 97 FM, New York, USA.
The Finesse crooner said he became legendary producer ID Cabasa’s intern at 12 which paved the way for him to become what he is today.
He said, “I got my first internship at 12. It was a huge record label called Coded Tunes in Nigeria and by one of the biggest legends in the music production industry. His name is ID Cabasa.
“That was who I interned under, then started learning the rocks. Before that I had thought myself how to play the keys, how to play the drums, a little bit of the flute and the piccolo and the saxophone, and the guitar and all that. But that internship really like launched me into the full music producer/songwriter vibe.”
Pheelz added that he was a genius in school, especially in Further Mathematics, but music took all his time.

The musician took to Instagram to share the news of his double purchase of a new house and car with his fans and colleagues.

Pheelz

One of the most well-known music producers in the nation is Pheelz. worked with artists like as Teni, Adekunle Gold, Fireboy DML, Davido, and Olamide.
He recently made the transition to singing and has already achieved chart-topping success with the songs “Finesse” featuring BNXN and “Electricity” featuring Davido.
