The Norwegian was sacked after Saturday’s embarrassing defeat to Watford in the premier league .

Late after the game there were rumors the club hierarchy had a meeting and early on Sunday morning and they agreed to part ways with Solskjaer.

Manchester united will pay him 7.5million severance fee due to the fact that he signed a new deal in June. The club confirmed the news with a post on all social media accounts that reads;

‘Manchester United can confirm that Ole Gunnar Solksjaer has left his role as manager. Thank you for everything Ole.’

According to reports the former Manchester United boss who ca be seen at most games has intervened in talks surrounding the sacking of the current Manchester United coach after several bad results.

Manchester United’s 5-0 loss to Liverpool last weekend has made the Ole sack talks intense but new reports suggest he will be allowed to be in charge of the Tottenham game and turn things around.

Fabrizio Romano confirmed there is no contact with Antonio Conte yet but he is opened to accepting an offer if it comes in.
