Popular Nigerian businessman Obinna Iyiegbu, popularly known as Obi Cubana, has disclosed that his most important mission at this stage of his life is winning souls for Christ Jesus.

The billionaire businessman made the remark in a Facebook post on Sunday amid the backlash trailing his alliance with the All Progressives Congress, APC, group.

Recall that an APC group called City Boy Movement, a group campaigning for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election, recently appointed the hotelier as its South-East Coordinator.

The appointment, however, attracted criticism from social media users, who blasted Obi Cubana for aligning with the APC administration, which according to them, plunged the country into untold hardship.

However, in his Facebook post on Sunday, Obi Cubana said “the MOST important assignment now is winning souls for Christ”.

“Our week is way too blessed and full of fruitfulness, amen! Awesome time in God’s presence as always”, the post added.

Popular businessman and socialite Obi Cubana has announced that he has given his life to Christ.

He made this known during a conversation with Pastor Jerry Eze, where it was confirmed that he has decided to fully embrace the Christian faith and begin a new journey with God.

According to the discussion, Obi Cubana described himself as a new person in Christ and expressed his desire to grow spiritually.

It was also revealed that he will now attend church regularly and remain committed to his decision.

Pastor Jerry Eze assured that Obi Cubana will receive proper spiritual guidance and discipleship to help him stay firm in his faith.

He added that arrangements have already been made to support his growth and understanding of God’s word.

The businessman also made it clear that the decision was personal and not influenced by anyone.

He chose to publicly share the news himself to let people know about his commitment to Christ.

Jerry Eze expressed confidence that Obi Cubana would grow steadily in his faith and use his influence positively, especially among young people.

Obi said: “I am a new creature in Christ, a human after Christ. I have given my life to Christ. This was my personal decision. Nobody prompted me. I wanted to let everyone know by myself that I have given my life to Christ.

“I will be going to church every Sunday. I want to grow in the knowledge of God. I believe God will use me to lead many people to Christ. God has given me influence, especially among the youth. So all you naysayers and negative people, don’t go and bring bad vibe to me. Just believe. And I will lead a lot of people to Christ.”

Nigerian billionaire and business mogul Obi Iyiegbu, widely known as Obi Cubana, has explained why many African entrepreneurs find it difficult to attain global success.

Cubana, in a video circulating online, spoke about the differences between African and Western business mindsets.

He attributed the inability of Africans to achieve global success to a lack of collaboration and an excessive focus on individual ownership.

According to him, most Africans prefer to operate alone, while their foreign counterparts understand the power of partnerships and shared ownership.

He said, “This I must own it all” mentality limits growth and makes it difficult to execute large-scale projects, as individuals often prioritise control over collective progress.

“Why we Africans don’t go far in business is because we want to own it ourselves. Nobody wants to share. You see, But oyibo people, I bet you there might be 20 owners who don’t even know themselves and they come together to make complex project look very simple.

“But our problem is that I want to have Obi Cubana and Sons Limited. whether your sons are interested in the business you do or not and that’s why the moment they die, the business dies.

“The moment they are incapacitated, the business dies because there’s no second or third generation to carry on.”

Anambra billionaire businessman, Obi Iyiegbu aka Obi Cubana has taken to Instagram to remind people of the need to post happy family content on social media.

The socialite who is well known for posting photos of his family stated that he still believes and understands the essence of family and marriage.

According to Obi Cubana, those who don’t understand nor believe in these are trying to make those who do believe in them seem like they are wrong.

He vowed that he won’t stop showcasing happy family contents and advised other couples to also keep doing so.

He wrote;

“Ok, so for those of us that still believe in, and understand the concept and essence of family and marriage, in whatever ways we can, please keep flaunting happy family contents!!

The minority wrong wanna make the majority right feel that the minority wrong are right, while the majority right is wrong!
