Bella Shmurda Narrating How Mohbad Attempted Su!cide Due To Issues He Was Having With His Label Surfaces After His Death

An old video of singer, Bella Shmurda revealing how Mohbad tried to take his own life has surfaced online.
This followed the death of the singer on Tuesday.
He said Mohbad attempted to take his own life due to issues he was enmeshed in with his music label.
In the interview with media personality, Chude Jideonwo, Bella Shmurda revealed that Mohbad who got fed up with the issues his contract with Marlian Music brought up, tried jumping down from the building they were in.
He backed out of the suicid£ attempt after his girlfriend walked in. Bella Shmurda went on to tell the music executives at Marlian Music to stop claiming that “all is well” as it is not that way.
Mohbad has now been confirmed dead at the age of 27.

Nigerian celebrities have taken to social media to mourn late singer, Ilerioluwa Olademeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad.
Recall that he died on Tuesday evening at the age of 27.
Reacting to the demise, popular On Air Personality, Do2dtun shared the picture of their last moment together.
He wrote: “Mohbad. This was just two days ago.”
 
Singer Iyanya in a post on his X handle wrote: “RIP Mohbad your Journey on Earth will never be forgotten. May God receive you in His Holy Hands.”
 
BBNaija reality star and media personality, Natacha Akide, popularly known as Tacha in a post on X wrote: “MohBad, Life is just too short. Mohbad was just on the Big Friday show with me last month. This news is heavy and I still can’t believe it.”
Singer Olamide, sharing a heart broken emoji, wrote: “Damn! Mohbad.”
 
CKay in a post on his official X wrote: “No one should have to go through this. RIP Mohbad.”

This Will Be A Lesson To Others – Actor Jigan Baba Oja To Sue Mohbad For N100M Over His Upcoming Song

Popular Nollywood actor, Jigan Baba Oja has disclosed that he would file a lawsuit against singer, Mohbad for his lyrics in his new upcoming song, “Ask About Me”.

Mohbad will release his song titled “Ask About Me” on Friday 14th of April, 2023. However, it seems he has found himself in trouble even before the song will be released.

This threat from Jigan comes after he carefully listened to the lyrics from the snippet that the former Marlian artist released where he was mocking the actor’s disability.

This is not the first time an artist has sung to mock the artist due to his deformity. Recently, Jigan called out Asake for mocking him in one of his popular songs.

According to Jigan, he will sue Mohbad so as to serve as a lesson to others.

“I am taking this up against @iammohbad and I am going to charge him 100 million! This will sound like a big lesson to others!,” 
he wrote.

In the intriguing teaser, the gifted singer made digs at his estranged record company.

Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, better known by his stage name Mohbad, is a popular Nigerian rapper and singer. He has teased a new song called “tiff,” which could be a diss track for his estranged record company Marlian Music.

Through the record label’s owner, Naira Marley, the powerful street-hop artist and rapper recently gave notice of termination for alleged unpaid royalties over a three-year period and physical assault.

Mohbad provided a preview of his next single “Tiff” on November 6, 2022, even though nothing official has been said since the announcement. In the song, Mohbad, an abstract interpretation of the word “thief,” made fun of Marlian Music, Naira Marley, and possibly even label signees Zinoleesky and C-Blvck.

In a coded post, Naira Marley offers guidance as Mohbad drags Marlian records into court.

Naira Marley, a well-known Nigerian rapper, sent a mysterious message on Twitter in response to Mohbad’s decision to end his contract with the latter’s record label Marlian Records.

Recently, Marlian Records was presented with a letter of termination by Mohbad’s legal team saying that their client had committed crimes of assault and violence.

The Marlian chief was accused of planning ongoing attacks against Mohbad in the termination notice that was given on Tuesday.

According to the letter, the music executive has been delinquent in paying Mohbad advances and royalties owed from his intellectual property since 2019.

In the midst of the controversy, Naira Marley spoke about jealously and insecurity from those who make fun of other people’s dreams in a tweet on Wednesday.

According to reports, Mohbad was hospitalized following an altercation with Naira Marley and other members of the record label.

Mohbad, a musician, and his assistant Oreoluwa Oladapo have been admitted to the hospital following an alleged attack by Naira Marley, the head of his record label. 

On Wednesday, October 5, Oreoluwa uploaded footage to Twitter showing his damaged body and Mohbad.

He wrote: “If I die, the whole of marlians music individuals(naira Marley and his boiz)should be held responsible. Look how my brothers and I were treated without even engaging in any physical fight with any of the marlian music people. I was dragged naked on the road and naira Marley did nothing about it, I lost some of my valuables.

In another post, Oreoluwa claimed he has been receiving threat messages.

He wrote: “I’m getting threatening messages. I no fear to die oGod na im give person life. I was stripped naked on the streets like a dog or a thief. Me wey no touch anything just apologising.”

Recall that during his ordeal with the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) in February 2022, Mohbad whose real name is Ilerioluwa Oladimeji raised an alarm over an alleged threat to his life by Naira Marley and others.

In a video that circulated on the internet on Friday, February 25, the Naira Marley’s associate could be heard lamenting and calling out the names of his colleagues saying they want to kill him.

“I don’t know why these individuals have been attempting to kill me. They have been badmouthing me and doing bad things to me. Everyone on earth, please aid me! 

“Naira Marley will kill me if I pass away like this na Marlian song.” Never, ever will my God screw me over. I have no faith in anyone. He declared, “I’m going to the hospital. 

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) detained Mohbad and another artist, Zinoleesky, for possession of illegal narcotics.

Wizkid released his much anticipated single “Bad To Me” today, September 14th, and the song has elicited a variety of reactions from fans. 

Wizkid will appear on the beat for the second time, having previously appeared on Kabza De Small’s “Sponono” with Burna Boy in 2020.

On the other hand, Davido has been jumping on the amapiano beat more than the other guys. Songs such as “Champion Sound,” “Ke Star,” “High,” and others. 

Burna Boy then appeared on DJ Tarico’s “Yaba Buluku,” another amapiano-infused song, before releasing “Different Size” with Victony on his album “Love, Damini.”
