Your Unresolved Trauma Has Turned You Into A Manipulative And Toxic Person, I Pray You Find Peace – Iyabo Ojo Slams VDM

Nigerian actress, Iyabo Ojo has lambasted social media critic, Martins Otse aka VeryDarkMan after he made damning allegations against her in a viral video, including claims of infidelity and accepting bribes.

In a lengthy Instagram post, Iyabo Ojo expressed sympathy for VDM’s troubled childhood, which she believes has contributed to his toxic behavior.

She noted that VDM’s parents failed to provide him with a stable and loving environment, leading to unresolved anger and pain.

Iyabo Ojo questioned VDM’s mother’s parenting decisions, wondering why she allowed her child to fend for himself at a young age.

She also accused VDM’s mother of being dependent on her ex-husband and failing to provide for her children.

The actress urged VDM to forgive his parents and find peace, rather than directing his anger towards innocent people.

Iyabo Ojo’s response comes after VDM made several allegations against her, including claims that she had a threesome with her daughter and accepted N65 million to seek justice for the late singer Mohbad.

She wrote:

“Vincent, I’ve gained a deeper understanding of your behavior, and it’s quite sad. It seems like your upbringing lacked love, care, and stability. Your toxic narcissistic behavior stems from unresolved anger and pain caused by your parents’ failure to provide a nurturing environment.

“Instead of directing your anger toward those responsible, you’ve chosen to attack successful men and women. Listening to your story, it’s clear that you faced a lot of hardships, including stealing food to survive and almost being lynched as a child. Why would your mother let that happen? Mama Vincent, why didn’t you do more to provide stability for your child?

“Vincent, your unresolved trauma has turned you into a manipulative, deceitful, and toxic person who tarnishes reputations for relevance. Your anger is misplaced—your parents are to blame, not Paulo, Mama Festus, Priscilla, or me.

“Your obsession with me shows that my name lives rent-free in your head. If it helps you sleep better, continue. But I urge you to forgive your parents and free your heart from hate. Only then will you find peace.”

I Was Accused Of Killing Mohbad – Actress, Iyabo Ojo Says

Iyabo Ojo, the popular Nollywood actress, has disclosed that her activism in seeking justice for the late Nigerian singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba aka Mohbad, attracted negative criticisms and weighty allegations against her.

Speaking recently on the ‘Glass House’ with AY, Ojo said she was accused of killing Mohbad.

She said she was also accused of using his death to chase clout.

The thespian said contrary to the allegations, she was genuinely interested in getting justice for the late music star.

Ojo said, “They were even insinuating that maybe I killed Mohbad. I wasn’t around when Mohbad died. I was not close to him. I didn’t really know him that much.

“My encounter with him was during One Africa music fest. For the few days that we were together, I just knew that he was a cool boy, had his own thing he was going through and doing his music.

“If I killed him, then why was I fighting for his body to be exhumed for autopsy? There was a time they said I was paid [for my activism in getting justice for Mohbad]. They also said I was looking for a political position.

“They even said I was using it for clout. There are so many things that have been said about me. But I am not bothered because that isn’t the case. All I did was just to help seek justice for the late singer.”

Iyabo Ojo had slammed Kuti for being among those enabling controversial self-styled social media activist, VeryDarkMan, to constitute a nuisance online.

Iyabo Ojo Politicised Mohbad’s Death as Movement Against Naira Marley – Seun Kuti

Afrobeat singer, Seun Kuti has made an accusation against Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo.
He claimed Iyabo Ojo politicised the death of Nigerian singer, Mohbad, as a movement against his former record label boss, Naira Marley.

He made the allegations while reacting to Ojo’s claims that he is “confusing” the youth for saying controversial self-styled social media activist, VeryDarkMan is “a necessity.”
Kuti said he doesn’t believe Ojo’s activism was earned at getting justice for the late singer but targeted at Naira Marley.
Speaking in a video message shared via his Instagram account, the Afrobeat singer said: “I have watched your video, Iyabo [Ojo] but throughout the video you’re just talking about what VeryDarkMan did yet you said I was the one you were calling out.

“But there is one thing that I hold onto, you said I’m a confusionist confusing the youths. [Yoruba] This life is wicked. I’ve been on your podcast before because I bear you no grudge. I bear you no ill will. I stand personal beef. But when it’s political… It was you guys who politicised the death of Mohbad.

“You politicised his death. And I don’t believe you guys politicised his death because you were looking for justice because now what’s the findings? Did you accept the government’s findings? I read somewhere that the government said Mohbad died of substance abuse. If you guys believe the government findings, what are we doing? Justice for what?

“I believe personally, it was a movement against Naira Marley at the end of the day. I don’t see anything other than that. You said we are fighting against bullying in the Nigerian society and 70-80 per cent of celebrities are cultists.

“These are gangs of bullies. Bullies bullying everybody yet everyone is their friend. The gangs constantly bully people and celebrities are their members.

“Everybody is a friend of these members, nobody called them out for associating with gangs even after what happened to Mohbad. What’s happening? Is there any movement against confraternities in Nigeria? Where is the movement for justice for Mohbad now?”
