Wizkid My Favourite Artiste – Footballer, Chukwueze

Super Eagles player and AC Milan forward, Samuel Chukwueze, has disclosed that Afrobeats star, Ayodeji Balogun, aka Wizkid, is his favourite musician.

Chukwueze made this known this in an interview with Pooja Media where he answered questions on his Greatest Of All Time, GOATs in sports and other fields.

He said Anthony Joshua is his favourite boxer and Super Eagles teammate, Victor Osimhen his favourite footballer.

The 23-year-old also disclosed that Chinedu Ikedieze and Osita Iheme, aka Aki and Pawpaw are his favourite movie stars.

Chukwueze added that the Akwa Ibom state capital, Uyo is his favourite city.

The former Villarreal winger is currently with the Super Eagles in Uyo ahead of Nigeria’s last AFCON qualifier match against Sao Tome & Principe later today (Sunday, September 10, 2023).

Chukwueze will join Everton on loan.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Samuel Chukwueze is on his way to Everton on loan. 

Chukwueze’s loan deal includes a €45 million permanent transfer option at the end of the season. 

His transfer seemed unlikely until Tuesday, when Everton stepped up negotiations and agreed to a deal in principle with the winger. 

Everton’s alternative was thought to be Denis Suarez, but with a €80 million clause, the Toffees were outbid. 

Suarez, on the other hand, could move the other way to Villarreal to replace Chukwueze, who has previously been linked with Everton’s Premier League rivals, Liverpool. 

If the deal goes through, Chukwueze will join the ranks of Super Eagles stars in the Premier League, alongside Alex Iwobi, who plays for Everton.
