Graham Potter, the head coach of Chelsea Football Club, has tied the Premier League record set by Thomas Tuchel, his predecessor.
On Saturday, October 8, 2022, Potter defeated Wolves without a manager in an overwhelming victory to win his first Premier League game at Stamford Bridge. The Englishman’s fourth game in command of Chelsea was this one.
Chelsea has now won three straight games for the first time since September 2021 after to their victory over Wolves, making them unbeaten in eight Premier League games overall. Wolves signed former Chelsea and Atletico Madrid striker Diego Costa on a season-long loan on Monday.
Since leaving Brazilian club Atletico Mineiro in January, the 33-year-old has been without a club.
Wolves were in need of attacking options following the arrival of a new signing. On his debut against Southampton last week, Sasa Kalajdzic suffered a cruciate knee ligament injury.

Wolves have scored three goals in their first six Premier League games and are 14th in the table with six points.
Costa previously played for Chelsea, where he scored 59 goals in 120 games and led the Blues to two Premier League titles.
However, his career has been marred by a string of on-field outbursts, and he has struggled to match the heights of his time at Chelsea and his first spell at Atletico Madrid since leaving London in 2017.
Costa returned to Brazil with Atletico Mineiro in August 2021 after spending two and a half years in Madrid, but he struggled to make an impact before his contract was terminated in January.
