Obasanjo Is Wicked, Any Nigerian That Praises Him Will Go To Hell – Seun Kuti

Seun Kuti, Nigerian musician and youngest son of legendary Afrobeat singer, Fela Anikulapo Kuti has lashed out at former President Olusegun Obasanjo.
According to Kuti, Obasanjo is a wicked man.
Kuti made the submission in a social media post on his verified page.
The singer claimed that Obasanjo is part of Nigeria’s problem.
He went on to say that anybody that praises Obasanjo is an oppressor and has no respect for Africa.
He said: “They sell our oil, things that belong to us. That if anybody sells them, they’ll become billionaires. And when they were going to do these things, selling the things, especially during Obasanjo’s regime… That man is so wicked. And any Nigerian that praises Obasanjo for any reason will go to hell.

“You must go to hell because you have shown that you are beyond salvation. Whatever Obasanjo does in this country and you support it, you have shown that you are against Africa, you don’t respect Africa, that the atrocities of whatever forms that Africans have gone through have no bearing in your emotions as long as your own interests are served; you’re an oppressor.

“Anybody that can praise Obasanjo for anything is an oppressor! Is an oppressor!! You are an oppressor, nobody can tell me anything. It means you don’t respect Africans. You have no regard for all the atrocities we have gone through as African people. You are there to serve your selfish interest.”

Atiku In Closed-Door Meeting With Ibrahim Babangida In Minna

Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in the February 25 elections, has visited former Military President, General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida (retired).
The former vice president arrived at the Minna International airport around 11 am in the morning of Wednesday.
He was received by the former governor of Niger State, Dr Mu’azu Babangida Aliyu. He then moved straight to the uphill mansion of the elder statesman in Minna.
Channels Television gathered that the meeting between the duo lasted for over one hour.
According to findings, the visit is not unconnected with the just concluded elections in the country and to make official complaints about the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC)’s inability to conduct a free, fair, and acceptable election sequel to his rejection and calling for the cancellation of the result.
Also, Atiku Abubakar was in Minna to welcome General Babangida after his return from a foreign medical trip.
Atiku lost to his main rival of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu who polled 8,794,726 votes. He came tops in 12 of Nigeria’s 36 states and secured significant numbers in several other states to claim the highest number of votes.
The 76-year-old, who has now run for president six times, got 6,984,520 votes, while the candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, who, in less than a year, galvanised young voters in a manner some have described as unprecedented finished the race with 6,101,533.
Both Atiku and Obi are not happy with the outcome of the election and have approached the court to challenge the result.

Tinubu’s Victory: Accept Defeat – Lawmaker Begs Obi, Atiku

A lawmaker in Ondo State, Mr Sunday Olajide begged former Vice President Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and his Labour Party counterpart, Mr Peter Obi, to accept defeat.
This is as the duo are contesting the result of the Feb. 25 Presidential election in which INEC declared Bola Tinubu as winner.
Olajide, representing Akure South Constituency 2 in the Ondo State House of Assembly, on Wednesday in Akure, said that though every Nigerian had the constitutional right to seek redress of an injury in court, it would be statesmanship if the duo could let go.
“The duo of Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi should accept the outcome of the election.

“Going to the court will amount to a mere academic exercise and will achieve nothing.

“Sen. Bola Tinubu won the election fair and square, and the results of the presidential election were a true reflection of Nigerians’ sincere votes,” he stated.
Olajide said that Nigerians had elected Tinubu and Sen. Kashim Shettima as their most preferred leaders for the next administration.
The lawmaker also congratulated the President-elect and the Vice President-elect for the hard-fought victory at the just concluded presidential elections.
“The duo has demonstrated once more that they are dogged fighters in our quest for the establishment of a just and egalitarian society.

“I have no doubt that you will ride on the crest of the momentum of this triumph to lead our motherland to greatness and prosperity,” Olajide said.

Hackers Allegedly Steal ₦‎2.9 Billion From Flutterwave

According to a Punch report, hackers have reportedly stolen ₦2,949,557,867 from Flutterwave.
It was gathered that the money was illegally transferred from the accounts of African fintech unicorn, Flutterwave.
The tech giant’s counsel, Albert Onimole, reported the case to the Deputy Commissioner of Police, State Criminal Intelligence Department, Panti, Yaba, Techcabal reported.
According to Onimole’s letter, the hack on Flutterwave’s accounts occurred about some weeks ago revealing that the said sum was initially transferred to 28 accounts in 63 transactions.
Although the accounts that received the money were listed, the police are yet to freeze the receiving accounts to prevent the money being moved.
According to Flutterwave, some commercial banks allowed the money to be moved to other accounts, widening the money trail.
To investigate the accounts holding the stolen funds across various financial institutions in Nigeria, S.A. Adedesin, Legal Officer, State CID, Panti, Yaba, filed a suit in the Magistrate Court of Lagos to support Flutterwave’s claims.
The suit is between the Commissioner of Police and the affected 28 commercial banks.
While there are no documents to confirm if the court has ruled in favour of Inspector Micheal’s motion, some people have confirmed that their accounts have been frozen in connection to the hack.
Per the motion filed by Adebesin, 107 accounts, including fifth beneficiaries of those accounts, are to be placed on lien/Post-No-Debit (PND).
With the stolen funds distributed across several accounts, which, according to tweets, may or may not have anything to do with the hack, it is not clear at this time who hacked Flutterwave.
Questions about how hackers got past Flutterwave’s security and what this means for the unicorn’s customers remain unanswered. As of press time, Flutterwave hasn’t responded to our questions.
