



Superstar singer, Davido has opened up on his struggles after he lost his son, Ifeanyi Adeleke.
In a recent interview with Afrobeats Podcast, Davido stated that he wakes up everyday with a smile unlike months back before his return to the music space.
He added that a lot of people would have given up if they had to go through what he went through.
Davido said that he has come to realize that God is real, even though he had his doubts in the past.
The enormous show of support from fans has been overwhelming, he added further.

The global success of the song has earned it a double diamond certification in France, where it has sold over 500,000 copies, making it one of the most successful Afrobeats songs to be exported internationally.
‘Calm Down’ was released in February 2022 as one of the lead singles from Rema’s debut album ‘Raves & Roses‘ and features Selena Gomez on the remix.
The song has also earned certifications in other countries such as Switzerland, Italy, and the United Kingdom, as well as a platinum plaque from the RIAA in the United States.
Additionally, ‘Calm Down’ holds the record for the highest-charting African song on the Billboard Hot 100, reaching the number 8 spot, surpassing the previous record held by Wizkid‘s ‘Essence’ remix featuring Tems & Justin Bieber.
The song’s music video is the most-watched Afrobeats video on YouTube, with over 427 million views, and has surpassed 2 billion streams across all platforms combined.

Some old interviews of globally-renowned Nigerian songstress Tems have emerged showing her stating her desire to have a duet with Grammy-winning singer, Burna Boy.
In the videos, Tems said she wished to work with ‘Odogwu’ noting he was the Nigerian artiste she’d love to collaborate with.
Stating her reasons for wanting to have a collabo with Burna, the ‘Damages’ singer noted he lifts her spirit and remains one person she can relate to out of many others.
She stated her love for Burna Boy and the fact that they share something in common, ‘madness’ fuels her yearning to see them do a song together.
When asked to mention the artiste she’d love to do a duet with, Tems said: “Burna Boy because I love him and his mad. And so am I.”

The artiste announced the passing of Alhaja Adijat Kuburat (Iyawo Anobi) Thursday night.
55-year-old Pasuma informed the public in a terse statement on his Instagram account.
“MY JEWEL! I will miss you forever! Words fail me! Rest in power and peace, please watch over me from heaven,” he wrote.
The post elicited comments in an hour, as family, friends, colleagues and fans dropped condolence messages.
