Popular Nigerian artist, Young Jonn has spoken about his transition from a music producer to a singer.
In an interview with Isi Ijewere for her YouTube show, Backstage Banter, he shared some personal insights.
When asked about the hardest part of becoming a singer, Young Jonn said, “The hardest part was self-conviction, actually convincing myself that I could do it.” He explained that he often questioned himself on stage, wondering if he really wanted to perform.
The interview also touched on some personal topics. Young Jonn mentioned that the last time he cried was when he lost his mother. He also admitted that everyone, including himself, sometimes lies to themselves to feel better.
When asked about what he dislikes most in people, Young Jonn said, “I don’t like people who are not true to themselves.” He believes that being honest with yourself is important for being honest with others.
Uriel Oputa, the popular Big Brother Naija reality star, has revealed that she has a crush on Grammy award-winning singer, Burna Boy.
She said she loves the ‘African Giant’ crooner’s “ruggedness” and would love to be “choked” by him.
Speaking on her podcast, ‘Inside Scoop,’ Uriel said, “Burna boy is my celebrity crush, I like how he’s rugged. I love the fact that he has six packs and then he’s a little bit taller.
“He’s masculine and can be authoritative. I want him to choke me till my eyeballs come out. I don’t care if my eyeballs come out, let him choke me.”
Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe, the famous Nigerian singer, who is popularly known as Ayra Starr, has expressed her admiration for her colleague, Rema.
She described him as her closest friend and “GOAT.”
The ‘Rush’ crooner explained that Rema inspires her so much.
Speaking in a recent interview with Munch Music, Starr said: “Out of all the famous people I know, who would I say is my closest friend? I would say somebody that keeps inspiring me. And he’s such a good friend of mine and a brother.
“I wouldn’t say mentor but he’s somebody that’s doing the same thing I’m doing but at the same time, he has been here before me. And he knows how to move and he keeps inspiring me. It’s Rema.
“Shoutout to Rema. That’s my GOAT. That’s my guy. That’s my friend.”
Mr Joseph Aloba, the father of late singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba aka Mohbad has revealed that his son doubted the paternity of Liam before his demise.
According to him, Mohbad and Wunmi clashed over the paternity of their son which led to intense argument between them.
Mr Joseph Aloba opened up on this while speaking on the popular show, Brekete Family.
Mohbad’s father recounted how, on one occasion the singer was set to go out for a show when his wife insisted that she was going to tag along.
He stated that at the time, Mohbad’s son, Liam was just 5 months old. During the course of the drive to the show venue, Mohbad’s father claimed that the singer and his wife fought in the car.
Mr Joseph Aloba alleged that what had caused the fight was the paternity of Liam.
He said that instances such as that has made him suspect that Liam might not be his grandson.

Wunmi, the late wife of singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, has taken to her Instastories to make a shocking declaration.
She stated that her father-in-law, Mr. Joseph Aloba is the “greatest enemy” of her son with the singer, Liam.
This came after Mohbad’s father shared his story of how the late singer clashed with his wife over their son’s paternity, claiming that Mohbad had always doubted Liam’s paternity.
Mohbad’s father recounted how, on one occasion the singer was set to go out for a show when his wife insisted that she was going to tag along.
During the course of the drive to the show venue, Mohbad’s father claimed that the singer and his wife fought in the car.
In a now-deleted post on her Instagram story, Wunmi expressed her sadness of the fact that her son, Liam’s greatest enemy is grandfather.
She wrote; “Liam’s greatest enemy is his grandfather. Life is funny.”
