Seyi Tinubu Is Threatening My Life – VeryDarkMan Cries Out (Video)

Popular Nigerian influencer and social critic VeryDarkMan has publicly called out Seyi Tinubu, son of Bola Tinubu, over an alleged threat to his life.

Verydarkman made the allegation on Friday afternoon in a viral video on Instagram.

This comes amid an ongoing rivalry between Verydarkman and popular content creator King Mitchy.

Recall that King Mitchy, who recently renovated a public school within six days with financial support from Seyi Tinubu, engaged in an exchange with Verydarkman over her failure to account for public donations she received since 2025.

In response, Verydarkman accused Seyi Tinubu of sponsoring King Mitchy’s charity work.

However, in a new video on his Instagram page, Verydarkman called on the general public to hold Seyi Tinubu and King Mitchy accountable should anything happen to him.

While accusing Seyi Tinubu of threatening his life, he said: “Nigerians, with respect to what’s going on now, they are beginning to threaten my life. Seyi Tinubu and King Mitchy are threatening my life. Last night, this is the chat King Mitchy sent to my friend, Kokopee. And this is part of the chat. She said, ‘Hold VDM ooo. Either we talk on the phone and settle this, because the matter don serious ooo. Seyi just called me now to explain everything. Talk to VDM because what I heard just now, hmmm, I’m afraid.’

“Seyi go far ooo. Na me know wetin he tell me on phone. Protect your bro. My life is being threatened. I just want to put it out there that if anything happens to me, it’s King Mitchy and Seyi. They both know what they’ve spoken on the phone. King Mitchy is so scared that she wants to come and meet me so that we can quickly settle to appease Seyi because Seyi is so angry. Seyi Tinubu is so influential and powerful that he can command the IGP and DSS boss. Anything Seyi likes, he can do. I want Nigerians to know that it is because I am speaking about the evil of this government that Seyi Tinubu is coming for me.

“A threat to my life has been issued. If anything should happen to me and my close ones, hold @seyitinubu and King Mitchy responsible. THIS IS NOT A JOKE. I DON’T FEEL SAFE. Seyi Tinubu has the power and connections. I DON’T FEEL SAFE,” he said.

How Bad Economy Is Affecting Streaming Revenues In Nigeria – Music Producer, Sarz (Video)

Renowned Nigerian music producer Sarz (born Osabuohien Osaretin) has explained why music streaming earnings are significantly lower in Nigeria than in the United States and other Western nations.

Appearing in a recent episode of the Afropolitan podcast, Sarz noted that the revenue for a million streams on Spotify in the United States is between 3,000 to 5,000 dollars while in Nigeria, the revenue for the same streams is a meager 300 or 500 dollars despite the cost of marketing and promotion being almost the same.

“A million streams from the United States is maybe $3000-$5000..That same 1 million streams from Nigeria is arguably maybe $300-$500 but it will cost you the same amount to market or promote a song in Nigeria as much as it would cost you abroad,” he remarked.

Sarz explained that the disparity in revenue payments is due to economic reasons, stressing that subscribers in Western countries pay far more than Nigerians because they have better economies.

He noted that Nigerian love and desire to patronise music but lack the resources to afford premium subscriptions thereby making streams from Nigeria less economically valuable than Western countries.

On the way forward, Sarz said, “We [Nigerian entertainers and executives] are waiting for the state of the country to get better so other things can start improving.

“I think we have done very well with the resources that we have and with all the obstacles against us.

“I mean, people are streaming music, the people that can’t stream, can’t afford it. But people listen to music across the country and if they can’t afford streaming, it just means that they don’t have the money to.

“And how do we empower them? Back to the government. So, we are just waiting till the economy gets better.”

Please Let’s Bury Mohbad – Nigerian Artiste, Primeboy Calls For Release Of Late Singer’s Corpse

Nigerian singer Owodunni Ibrahim, popularly known as Primeboy, has made a heartfelt public plea for his close associate, the late Mohbad (born Ilerioluwa Aloba), to be buried nearly three years after his passing.

Recall that Mohbad d!ed in controversial circumstances on September 12, 2023 and has remained in the mortuary since then.

He was initially laid to rest on September 13, 2023, but was exhumed on September 21 for an autopsy to be carried out on him and has remained in the morgue since then.

The father of the deceased, Joseph Aloba, has insisted that the singer’s remains will not be laid to rest until a DNA test is conducted to ascertain the true paternity of Liam, the only child the singer left behind with his wife, Omawunmi.

In a viral video, Primeboy called on Mohbad’s family, the public, and the government to ensure the remains of the singer are laid to rest.

He said, “It’s been almost three years since Mohbad left us. His body is still in the mortuary. I’m begging the family, I’m begging the public, I’m begging the government, please let’s bury our brother. He deserves a befitting burial.”

Meanwhile, an Ikorodu High Court has ordered three separate DNA tests to be conducted abroad to determine the paternity of Liam.

The court gave the new directive after earlier plans to conduct a DNA test stalled, causing delays in resolving the disagreement between Mohbad’s family and his widow.

Mohbad’s father, Joseph Aloba, appeared in court with his lawyer, Oladayo Ogungbe, who explained that the initial court-approved process could not proceed due to issues regarding the suitability of the testing centre.

Ogungbe told the court that a fresh arrangement had been made to avoid further disputes and to ensure trust in the outcome.

Nigerian Singer, Burna Boy Reveals He Has Converted To Islam, Shares View About Creation (Videos)

Burna Boy, the world-famous, Nigerian Grammy Award–winning Afrofusion artist, has embraced Islam.

The claim of Burna Boy’s conversion to Islam had surfaced on social media earlier, sparking widespread reactions and debate among fans and followers of the award-winning artist.

The conversation began after Nigerian socialite and fashion enthusiast, Rahman Jago, shared a video of Burna Boy on 𝕏 (formerly Twitter), in which the singer was heard saying “Alhamdulillah,” an Arabic phrase commonly used by Muslims meaning “Praise be to God.”

The short clip quickly gained traction online, with many users questioning whether the frequent use of Islamic expressions by the singer signified a formal change of faith.

Some fans noted that Burna Boy had, on several occasions, used Arabic phrases in his songs and public appearances, fuelling speculation that he may have embraced Islam privately.

Amid the growing curiosity, former presidential aide Bashir Ahmad weighed in on the issue after being asked about the development on 𝕏.

Responding to an inquiry, Ahmad wrote, “Some people close to him said he converted to Islam, but there has been no official confirmation directly from him yet.”

His response appeared to suggest that while there were claims from associates of the artiste, there had been no public declaration from Burna Boy himself.

However, Rahman Jago later entered the online discussion again, making a categorical statement about the singer’s faith.

“He converted. He is now a Muslim,” Jago wrote.

Burna Boy confirmed his conversion to Islam from Christianity on Plaueboymax’s livestream where he shared his view about the creation.

The development has continued to generate mixed reactions, with some congratulating the artiste, while others have urged his view about creation.
