Kizz Daniel Breaks Silence Following Reports That a Court Ordered The Freezing of His Bank Accounts

Nigerian singer, Oluwatobiloba Daniel Anidugbe, popularly known as Kizz Daniel has reacted to claims that a court ordered the freezing of his personal and business accounts over a contract dispute.
It was alleged that the Buga hitmaker was directed to pay €200,000 in damages for failing to honour a show despite receiving a $50,000 advance payment, and that his accounts with Access Bank were frozen by court order.
Reacting in a statement on on Thursday, September 25, 2025, Kizz Daniel’s team described the report as false, misleading, and a deliberate attempt to tarnish the artist’s reputation.

“Kizz Daniel has no such case in court, and no accounts have been frozen. We urge fans, partners, and the general public to disregard this fabricated story,” the statement partly read.
The singer’s team vowed to take legal action against those behind the fake report, emphasising that the artist remains focused on his music and upcoming shows.
The team noted that this isn’t the first time the singer has been the target of false rumours, but his management insists such distractions will not deter him from delivering quality music to his fans worldwide.
They recalled that the promoter of Afrobeats Meets Berlin 2022 actively used Kizz Daniel’s name, image, and likeness, along with those of other artists, to sell tickets and build hype for a festival that ultimately never happened.
The statement added that Kizz Daniel was ready to perform, but the promoter “failed to uphold his own obligations.”

Being Humble As An Artiste Is Usually Mistaken For Weakness – Asake

Popular Nigerian singer Asake has opened up on why it is not a good idea for artists to be humble.
According to him, being humble is usually taken as weakness.
Asake stated this in a viral video on Tiktok.
In the video, he told his friend that in the industry, being humble is usually seen as a weakness, while showing ego tends to make artists appear more attractive to fans.
The singer stressed that people do not pay much attention to the process behind an artiste’s work, instead, they are more concerned with the results that come out of it.
According to him, taking time to explain or show people how things are done is often not valued, as most audiences only respect the finished product.
He said: “As an artiste, if you’re humble, they take you for granted. But if you have ego they feel like you’re not accessible then they like you more. People would rather see what you’re doing than showing them. They don’t really appreciate it. Do what you need to do and just go.”

I Feel Guilty Everyday For Not Fulfilling My Late Mother’s Wish – Cubana Chiefpriest

Celebrity barman, Cubana Chief Priest has revealed one of his regrets in life.
According to him, he feels guilty not fulfilling his mother’s wish for him.
He also narrated that his mother’s death changed his life.
Speaking in a post on Instagram, he revealed that his mother wanted him to be a priest.
He wrote: “Growing up my mom wanted me to be a Catholic priest so bad because she promised God that her child will serve God while she searched for the fruit of the womb for over 6 years. She had my big brother first & named him Onyinyechukwu (Gift from God). Then one year & some months later she had me out of so much complications so she named me Chibuike (God is my strength).

“I did my best to gain admission to the seminary. But I couldn’t make it to Catholic priesthood because many are called but few are chosen. Next year will make it 10 years I lost my mom & everyone who really knows my real story will testify that after my mom made it to heaven my story changed for good. Everyday I live with the guilt that I disappointed my mama by not becoming a Catholic priest, she wanted to be called Mama Father but rather I became the ChiefPriest.

“But fact remains that I’m still doing God’s work. I had to do this thanksgiving Catholic Christian song to honor my late mom & also thank God for the numerous blessings that have come my way. I have it all from family to fame, friends, connect, wealth, music etc. Indeed there is joy in my heart & it’s flowing like a river, 1,000 comments only & I will drop this amazing Catholic tune in a bit featuring @zoroswagbag produced @masterkraft_ #MusicNaWater.”
