Court Adjourns Nigerian Rapper, Odumodublvck Alleged Assault Trial, Sets New Trial Date

The FCT High Court sitting in Life Camp, Abuja, has postponed the trial of Nigerian rapper Tochukwu Ojogwu, widely known as “Odumodublvck,” in an assault and battery case until April 8, 2026.

The claimant’s counsel, Uchenna Ojembe, and the defendant’s counsel, Taiwo Akinsulie, were in court for the trial of Odumodublvck but due to the ongoing renovation in the courtroom, the case was adjourned.

However, the counsels agreed on a date which is convenient for both parties to enable them commence the case.

The News agency of Nigeria (NAN) recalls that the claimant, a Nigerian musician, Ogbogiri Okey Levi, popularly known as “Kraziecent” had instituted a suit against Odumodublvck for violently assaulting and battering him in a public event sometime in December 2024.

Kraziecent in a civil suit alleged that while he was peacefully taking pictures and videos of himself at the event, Odumodublvck violently assaulted him for no reason.

He said that the defendant’s actions inflicted emotional distress on him and his iPhone 15 Pro Max was intentionally damaged in the process.

The claimant went further to seek an order of the court directing the defendant to pay the medical expenses incurred during his treatment.

Kraziecent also sought an order directing Odumodublvck to pay him N2 billion for damages.

He also sought an order directing the defendant to issue a public apology to him, through all the defendant’s social media platforms, including two national newspapers, among other claims in the suit.

How Can Somebody Boldly Preach Against An Act She’s Already Guilty Of? – Actress Rita Edochie Blasts Judy Austin

Nollywood actress Rita Edochie has criticized her husband’s nephew, Yul Edochie’s second wife, Judy Austin, over recent advice she shared with young women.

Earlier this week, Judy urged women to be “intentional” in their relationships. The actress also told women not to marry a man just because they got pregnant for him.

Rita Edochie has now responded, reminding Judy that she married Yul Edochie, a man who was already married after she got pregnant for him amid their extramarital affair.

Rita told Judy that she is not in a position to advice women when she is guilty of all that she is condemning.

Ms. Edochie wrote: “WHEN YOU SEE AN ADVICE THAT CONTRADICTS YOUR PERSON SIMPLY SHUT UP AND REST at one CORNER, SOME PEOPLE ARE VERY INCOMPETENT AND INELIGIBLE FOR THE

KIND OF ADVICE THEY DISH OUT

SOLU OKWU ONU M MANA ESO NA OMUMEM (follow my words but not my action). IMPOSSIBLE !!!! IF YOU MUST PREACH IT… THEN YOU MUST BE A PERFECT EXAMPLE.”

Rita continued: ” PART ONE ;

INTENTIONAL INDEED……….

“IN HER WORDS : ‘DON’T MARRY A MAN BECAUSE YOU GOT PREGNANT FOR HIM.’ TO ME , THIS SOUNDS LIKE NOTHING BUT AN INDIRECT SELF JUDGEMENT , A SILENT CONFESSION WRAPPED IN FAKE WISDOM .

“HOW CAN SOMEONE BOLDLY PREACH AGAINST AN ACT SHE’S ALREADY GUILTY OF?

“HOW DO YOU WARN OTHERS AGAINST A ROAD YOU BUILT A HOUSE ON ? ISN’T THAT HYPOCRISY WEARING PERFUME ?

“LET’S NOT PRETEND PLEASE . THAT OTHER WOMAN’S HUSBAND YOU GRABBED , WAS IT NOT BECAUSE YOU GOT PREGNANT FOR HIM ?

OR WAS IT A SPIRIT YOU CONCEIVED FOR?

“TELL US , WAS IT A GHOST THAT LEFT HIS WIFE AND WENT BEHIND CLOSED DOORS WITH OGBOMMANU MEN TO PAY YOUR BRIDE PRICE THAT IS NEVER RECOGNISED ?

“LET’S STOP DECEIVING THE PUBLIC IN THE NAME OF ‘ADVICE.’

“IF WE MUST PREACH , LET’S PREACH FROM A PLACE OF TRUTH , NOT FROM THE SAME DIRT WE’RE TRYING TO COVER UP .

“DON’T COME ONLINE FORMING SAINT WHEN YOUR HISTORY IS LOUD ENOUGH TO ECHO THROUGH WALLS.

“DON’T DISH OUT MORALITY LESSONS WHEN YOUR OWN FOUNDATION IS CRACKED AND SHAKY .

“YOU CAN’T PLAY VICTIM IN ONE BREATH AND PRETEND TO BE A ROLE MODEL IN THE NEXT .

“IF THERE ARE PEOPLE FIT TO ADVISE YOUNG LADIES OUT THERE , YOU WOULDN’T EVEN MAKE IT TO THE FIRST 50 ON THAT LIST .

“MAYBE IT’S BEEN LONG YOU TRENDED .

MAYBE THE SILENCE ONLINE WAS TOO HEAVY FOR YOU , SO YOU DECIDED TO SHAKE THE TABLE AGAIN .

BUT THIS TIME , THE TABLE ISN’T MOVING , IT’S LAUGHING .

“YOU TALK ABOUT VALUES AS IF YOU’VE LIVED BY ANY . YOU TALK ABOUT MISTAKES AS IF YOURS DON’T STILL SLEEP BESIDE YOU EVERY NIGHT .

DON’T CONFUSE ATTENTION WITH RELEVANCE .

“BECAUSE SOMETIMES , THE LOUDEST VOICES ARE THE MOST GUILTY ONES .

“LET’S BE REAL. A BLIND MAN CAN NOT LEAD A BLIND MAN.

“A BROKEN VESSEL CANNOT TEACH OTHERS HOW TO STAY WHOLE. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE !

“SO BEFORE YOU COME OUT TO ‘ADVISE’ YOUNG WOMEN , CHECK YOUR OWN STORY FIRST . CLEAN YOUR OWN MIRROR . BECAUSE NO MATTER HOW BRIGHT YOUR MAKEUP LOOKS , YOUR TRUTH STILL BLEEDS THROUGH THE CRACKS .

“GOOD MORNING GREAT LOVERS OF RITA EDOCHIE

“BIKO , I NO WANT MEK ANYBODY MEK ME VEX OOOO  BODY DEY PEPPER ME OOOO . I DEY COME WITH THE PART 2.”

Pastors Now Behave Like Content Creators – Comedian Funnybone Slams Clergymen Who Like Calling Themselves Out Online

Comedian Funnybone, whose real name is Chibunna Stanley, has condemned new-generation clergymen for frequently calling out their peers on social media.

In a post shared on Instagram today, Funnybone said their actions is both shameful and exhausting to watch.

He wondered why clergymen cannot pick their phones and call to address any issue they may have with their colleagues.

He added that if they are not ashamed, they should know that other Christians are ashamed on their behalf.

He wrote; ‘’Dear new generation preachers,

This recent trend of dragging one another on social media is tasteless and deeply embarrassing to the Body of Christ. Everyone is wielding the Bible to justify personal excesses and unnecessary drama. It is both shameful and exhausting to watch.

If your founding fathers had been this dramatic, you probably wouldn’t have had a congregation to pastor today.

What happened to picking up the phone, calling that pastor privately, and resolving issues as spiritual men? Must everything become a public spectacle? Can this just stop?

If you are not embarrassed, please know that we are embarrassed on your behalf.

Pastors behaving like content creators online… sigh”

You Are Ingrates – Olasco Films Blasts Okunnu, Austin Emmanuel For Calling Him Out (Video)

Veteran movie marketer Akeem Olatunji Balogun, widely known as Olasco Films, has labeled actors Okunnu and Austin Emmanuel as ungrateful.

He stated this while reacting to allegations against him by the actors during their recent interview.

Recall that Okunnu had some days ago called out Olasco Films over a movie he produced for him 16 years ago.

Okunnu who accused Olasco of pocketing all the money made from the movie, said, “I haven’t forgiven Olasco.”

This came a few months after actor Austin Emmanuel accused Olasco Films and his close associate, Toymax Films, of blacklisting him in the industry.

Austin who has been away from the screen for years, also accused Toymax of sleeping with his girlfriend named Aisha Raji.

However, reacting to the allegations, Olasco in an Interview with actor Tunde Ola-Yusuf, called Okunnu and Austin Emmanuel ingrates.

While explaining that he gave Okunnu N2 million to produce the movie for him, he narrated his contribution to Austin Emmanuel’s career.

“Okunnu is like a blind man using a walking stick, and when he regained his sight, he threw away the walking stick that was guiding him when he was blind. That’s who he is for him to say he worked for me without pay. Okunnu collected N2 million from me to produce the movie for me 16 years ago. As at that time, production only cost between N700,000 to N1 million.

“Austin Emmanuel wants to trend with my name. I assisted him to advertise the very movie that made him famous in my films, so he’s an ingrate,” he said.

All R@pists Should Be Castrated And Burnt Alive – Nigerian Singer, Simi Blows Hot

Afrobeats singer Simi, born Simisola Kosoko, has stirred controversy after advocating capital punishment for r@pists.

Nigeria is currently in a s*xual assault crisis with multiple r@pe allegations being reported in different parts of the country in recent weeks.

Reacting on Tuesday night, Simi passionately appealed to citizens and the authorities to put an end to s*xual ass@ult against women.

“I’m sickkk of this. Stop r@ping women. They need to castrate r@pists and burn them,” she wrote in a fierce X post.

However, her suggestion of a capital punishment for r@pists sparked a debate, with many arguing that the same should be given to false r@pe accusers.

Simi maintained that she was advocating for r@pe victims and not victims of false r@pe accusations, which further escalated ther controversy.

Shunning the outrage from her male fans, the singer explained that she was advocating for r@pe victims because almost all the women she knew have been “s*xually assaulted at some points of their lives.”

She argued that it isn’t right to stop people from speaking against s*xual assault just because of false r@pe accusers.

“How many of your friends have actually assaulted women as vibes?? Women are terrified to go out. Women in their homes are not safe either. Ask your sisters. Ask your female friends and your girlfriends. Ask your wives. We’re not all crazy. Stop r@ping women,” she added.

Simi also urged men to hold their fellow men accountable, claiming that men creating the enabling environment for r@pists due to their failure to hold other accountable.
