Kannywood Actress, Fati Slow Motion Is Dead

Veteran Kannywood actress, Fatima Usman, widely known as Fati Slow Motion has passed on.

An activist based in Kano, Mansura Isa, announced Fati’s passing on Tuesday, May 28.

According to Isa, the actor passed away on Monday night in Habasha, near Sudan, where she will be laid to rest. He also disclosed that condolence messages can be offered at her family residence in Ungwa Uku, Kano.

The Executive Secretary of the Kano State Censorship Board, Abba El-Mustapha, also confirmed the incident.

He prayed for Fati Slow Motion’s departed soul and beseeched Allah for mercy and forgiveness upon her.

Fati Slow Motion has been an integral part of the Kannywood movie industry for over 15 years.

Sophia Momodu Slams Isreal DMW For Saying Davido Sponsored Imade’s Trips

Businesswoman Sophia Momodu has slammed Israel DMW, the personal assistant of singer, Davido.
This followed Israel’s earlier comment hailing Davido after his daughter, Imade Adeleke revealed she can’t count the number of countries she’s visited.
Recall that in the spirit of Children’s Day, Davido’s daughter Imade was featured in an interview with Pulse.
During the interview, when the smart little girl was asked how many countries she had visited, she revealed that she could not count them all since they were many. This comment from Imade made Isreal hailed his boss claiming that his money had made it possible for her journey.
In a swift reaction, Sophia Momodu has taken to her X page to drag Isreal. According to her, she doesn’t appreciate people crediting other people for taking her daughter on trips around the world.
She tweeted, “I told Isreal the 1st time he lied on social media that I didn’t find it funny & he apologized. Why he’s lying on his oga again on my child’s post is beyond me #SocialMediaIsNotRealLife
 
What does my taking my child on a tour of the south of France have to do with your oga’s money? Y’all owe me so much money but have the audacity to be capping on social media. Is Isreal ok??
 
Like.. I’m busy! I’ve always been very clear on understanding my purpose as a parent. It’s either you’re helping or you’re a distraction. Just capping anyhow on Children’s Day for that matter. Isreal no Dey fear God? What’s all this???
 
This is what happens when you openly disrespect someone’s boundaries. You’re too close to home to be telling such lies openly without considering the repercussions.
 
As a single parent, openly telling such a lie even if it was “jst a joke” actually has its repercussions. I work really hard to take care of my child & provide for her needs. It’s unfair to give people the impression that I’m being funded by some oga.”

Mohbad’s father, Joseph Aloba has revealed how he would react should DNA result prove that Liam is truly his grandson.

Since the death of Mohbad, his father has been leading a media war against the late singer’s wife, Wunmi.

Joseph demanded that before his son will be buried, a DNA test must be conducted to prove if Liam is actually the singer’s son.

While being featured in a recent interview with TVC news, Mr Joseph Aloba was asked what he’d do if Liam turns out to truly belong to the singer.
He stated that if the test conclusively shows that the boy is truly Mohbad’s son, he would accept the result.

According to Ayra Starr, she’s not aware of any such thing.

While Asake and Seyi Vibez have not had any public spat, there has always been a chill between their fanbases, especially on social media.

In a recent interview with The Beat FM Lagos, Ayra Starr was asked whether her decision to work with both men on her sophomore album, ‘The Year I Turned 21,’ was intentional because of their rivalry and she denied knowledge of the rivalry.
According to her, she decided to work with them because she loves their sonic prowess.
She said, “I didn’t put Asake and Seyi Vibez on my album because of their rivalry. I didn’t know about the rivalry between Asake and Seyi Vibez. I just love both of them as artists.
 
“I’m really big on sonics; what would sound good sonically. My team is always thinking of the business side but I’m just thinking of who would be sonically compatible with me. And I’ve been listening to Seyi Vibez’s ‘Different Pattern’ for a very long time. So I decided to work with him. When I sent the record to him, he sent his verse almost immediately. They were very quick with it. Asake, too, he sent me his verse in three days.”

“27 years in 10 days can be a lot of time or just the tip of an iceberg. It depends on how you want to see it. To me all these years have been precious. I feel each year, good or bad, has contributed a fraction into what I am today. I have learnt my own share of lessons in life.
 
From personal experience, five (5) books I’ve read so far this year and other peoples experiences. Today, I may not be able to pen all of them down, however, I will condense them into 27 brief “packages”. Life is journey and the lessons I collect are learning points.
 
Additionally, learning never stops. We need to be reminded and therefore we keep learning every waking day. My birthday in a bit 27 and successful ❤️💕🤗💃🏼”

Tapswap Gives Update Amidst Alleged Ban on Nigerians

Cryptocurrency mining company, Tapswap has made clarifications over reports that Nigerians have been banned from accessing the app.
This followed the difficulties Nigerians go through accessing the Telegram coin mining app.
Giving an update in a statement on X on Friday, May 24, the company stated that it has no plans to ban Nigerian users, attributing the access issues to technical challenges instead.
“Dear Nigerian community. We’ve heard concerns about limiting access to users from your country, but we want to clarify that this is not the case. We had to enable verification for the region from where DDoS attacks were initiated.
“As promised, we will disable this once our infrastructure is fully adapted. “We deeply appreciate every member of our community from all around the world and always welcome you here. Thank you for your understanding and support.”
