US President Donald Trump to Sue BBC For $1 BILLION for Editing One of His Speeches

President Donald Trump has revealed his plan to sue the BBC for $1 billion if his demands are not met.
This comes after BBC allegedly edited the president’s speech.
Trump accused BBC of allegedly trying to “interfere in the presidential election” last year by editing one of his speeches.
A letter sent to BBC Chairman Samir Shah at Television Centre by his legal team in Florida says: ‘President Trump will be left with no alternative but to enforce his legal and equitable rights, all of which are expressly reserved and are not waived, including by filing legal action for no less than $1,000,000,000 (One Billion Dollars) in damages.
‘Due to their salacious nature, the fabricated statements that were aired by the BBC have been widely disseminated throughout various digital mediums, which have reached tens of millions of people worldwide. Consequently, the BBC has caused President Trump to suffer overwhelming financial and reputational harm’.

The letter from his lawyer, Alejandro Brito, adds: ‘The BBC is on notice’.

Mr Brito says Mr Trump has three demands. By close of business on Friday the BBC must issue a full and fair retraction, issue an apology, and ‘appropriately compensate President Trump for the harm caused’.

Mr Trump issued the legal letter after it emerged Panorama had selectively edited his speech before the January 6 Capitol riot to remove a section where he told supporters to demonstrate peacefully. The scandal has brought down the Director General Tim Davie and the CEO of BBC News, Deborah Turness.
A BBC spokesman said: ‘We will review the letter and respond directly in due course.’
It came as BBC chairman Samir Shah made an apology to Mr Trump and admitted he was willing to say sorry in person.

‘He’s a litigious fellow. So we should be prepared for all outcomes’, he said when asked if he knew whether the President will sue.
Mr Trump said last night that the BBC is a ‘corrupt’ organisation and called Tim Davie and Deborah Turness, who have resigned over the scandal, ‘very dishonest people’.
A spokesperson for Trump’s legal team told NBC: ‘The BBC defamed President Trump by intentionally and deceitfully editing its documentary in order to try and interfere in the Presidential Election. President Trump will continue to hold accountable those who traffic in lies, deception, and fake news’.
The revelation comes shortly after Mr Shah used his first remarks since the resignations of director general Tim Davie and head of news Deborah Turness to mount a defence of the corporation.
Mr Shah accused Michael Prescott, who wrote a critical memo that ultimately prompted the resignations, of offering a ‘personal account’ which gives only a ‘partial’ view of events.
In a 1,600-word letter to the Culture, Media and Sport Committee (CMS), Mr Shah admitted there were ‘occasions when the BBC gets things wrong’ but claimed the leaked report did not present the full picture.

‘Michael Prescott’s memo gives only a partial description of the evidence that editorial guidelines and standards committee received and considered,’ he said.

He insisted there were no issues the BBC had sought to ‘bury’, adding: ‘That interpretation is simply not true. The issues raised by Mr Prescott are precisely the issues that have been considered by the Editorial Guidelines and Standards Committee [EGSC] and the board.’
Mr Shah said Mr Prescott had relied on evidence compiled by the editorial guidelines and standards committee (EGSC), to produce the dossier.

‘There is another view that has gained currency in the coverage that the BBC has done nothing to tackle these problems. That is also simply not true,’ he said.

‘Over the three years Mr Prescott was an adviser to the EGSC, the BBC has: published corrections where we have got things wrong; changed editorial guidance to make the BBC’s position on issues clearer; made changes to leadership where the problems point to underlying issues; and carried out formal disciplinary measures.’

Many People Have D!ed of Drug Overdose – Ned Nwoko Insists Regina Must Go to Rehab

Senator Ned Nwoko has insisted that his estranged wife, actress Regina Daniels must go to rehab.

He stated this again in a new interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).
According to him, Regina must undergo rehabilitation to address drug abuse and safeguard her well-being so she can properly raise their two sons.
In a fresh interview with the News Agency of Nigeria NAN, Nwoko said his stance followed a series of “alarming” toxicology reports indicating “high levels of harmful substances in Daniels’ system”. He said that many persons have d!ed of drug overdose and that if anything happens to Regina, he has no idea of what he will tell their children.
According to Nwoko, his wife’s calm personality had changed in recent months, as she began exhibiting “violent and destructive behaviour” alongside recurring health crises.

“I want her alive and healthy, not just for me, but for our children. We have two young kids together, and they cannot fight for themselves, so I’m going to fight for them by safeguarding their mother. Many people have d!ed of drug overdose, and if anything happens to her now, what will I tell her children tomorrow? I have lived with this problem for eight months, and on three occasions, I had to carry her to Nizamiye Hospital unconscious from a drug overdose, you can go verify it.”

Nwoko said he wanted Daniels to raise their children in “a sane and healthy environment”, adding that rehabilitation would prevent her from accessing drugs while she completes her treatment.
The senator also presented toxicology results of the actress, insisting that anyone discouraging her from seeking proper medical care was “her real enemy and that of her children”.
He said the reports showed several substances with toxic levels, dismissing recent statements by Regina’s mother and siblings on the drug abuse allegations as “baseless distractions”.

“That is why I am saying that everybody has to calm down and join hands to save her. But she and her mother are living in denial. If they really want to prove me wrong, let them arrange for her to visit any toxicologist of their choice — I will pay.”
Nwoko also alleged that Daniels’ close friends and siblings, particularly her brother Sammy influenced her and enabled her access to drugs.

“Her close relations and friends that I trusted around her are the ones exploiting her resources to supply her with drugs, leaving her addicted. Imagine the pain of a husband trying to help his wife recover from an addiction, only to have the process sabotaged by her siblings and friends. Each time progress was made, they would undo it by smuggling in the same drugs she was fighting to give up.”
The senator dismissed claims made by Regina’s brother that his son d!ed in the UK from drug overdose. He averred that autopsy results did not show drug-related complications as the cause of death.
The couple’s marital crisis has been ongoing since October, when a viral video showed Daniels in tears, accusing Nwoko of domestic violence.
The senator responded by alleging his wife was struggling with drug and alcohol addiction.
Earlier today, Daniels admitted to using hard drugs but accused Nwoko of orchestrating her addiction as part of a pattern of control and manipulation.
She also alleged that the lawmaker is in possession of her private sex tape.

Regina Has Nothing On Me – Ned Nwoko Releases Fresh Statement

Ned Nwoko, husband of estranged actress, Regina Daniels has stated that she has nothing incriminating on him to release to the world.
The Senator representing Delta North Senatorial District stated this in a new statement he issued through his Communication and Technical Action Team on Monday.
The Senator said individuals who had allegedly targeted him for years were now capitalising on the situation to portray him negatively before the international community.
Nwoko said, “Beyond this, the talk about me grabbing land in my hometown is false and unfortunate. The truth is that I was allocated a piece of land, for which I made a genuine offer of payment, to establish the University of Sports, a project that exists today and serves the community.

“Unfortunately, anyone who seeks progress in our society is often attacked and torn down by their own people. That is the sad difference between us and other ethnic groups.”

“The facts are there. Those exploiting her present condition to settle old scores, knowing they have no case against me, will eventually face justice.

“They must also be careful with the defamatory statements they continue to make because they will be required to prove them.

“If by now she has not brought up any credible allegation against me, it means there is nothing illegal about me, except that I want her to seek help for rehabilitation, a condition that existed long before our marriage.”
The lawmaker stated that it was on record that Regina had a history of substance use, which could be verified through medical records and in court.
He said, “The whole world has read her own accounts of substance use, and her former schoolmates have testified online that she and her sister dropped out of school because of drug-related issues.

“Yet some people keep pushing this false narrative to damage my reputation. She openly admitted to using drugs and said she was on bipolar medication.

“Her medical records are verifiable, but the enemies of progress are now manipulating her to achieve their aims. If she had any secrets to reveal, she would have done so. She has nothing.

“All the current stories being circulated are fabricated and amount to criminal defamation, and those behind this smear campaign will have their day to prove their claims.”

Nwoko also addressed public controversy regarding the timeline of his marriage to Regina Daniels.

“For clarity, Regina Daniels was born on October 10, 2000. If she has been married for six years, that means she got married at 19 years old, not 17,” he said.

He noted that the public witnessed her family giving her away in marriage and that her mother personally brought her to him.

“Our customs and traditions do not frown upon polygamy. What I did was to marry her honourably, give her a name, and treat her with dignity.

“Our marriage has been public and transparent. Beyond the social media lifestyle, my world revolved around Regina. I pampered her and cared for her deeply, something everyone who has worked with me across Delta, Abuja, and beyond can testify to.

“It is, therefore, disheartening to read all this filth being spread online. As the saying goes, when a wall cracks, the lizard finds its way in. Regina has become a weak point through which my political and personal enemies are attacking me.

“My decision to marry her properly according to tradition is now being twisted into a tool for political blackmail. This is a witch-hunt that has been ongoing for years, an attempt to stop my developmental strides and tarnish me now that I am a Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria,” he added.

Nigerians Don’t Like Happy People – Bobrisky

Popular crossdresser, Bobrisky has made a revelation about Nigerians.
According to him, Nigerians don’t like happy people.
He stated this in a post on Instagram.
Bobrisky also warned against flaunting wealth or openly sharing who makes you happy.
He said such a thing can spark envy and even lead to the breakdown of relationships.
He wrote: “One thing I learnt the hard way as an ex Nigerian is never to bring what makes me happy on social media. Nigerians are going through a lot, so imagine flaunting your wealth or who’s making you happy in their faces—haa, they will make sure that relationship scatters and they will laugh at you. Please hide who’s making you happy from your own family, let alone friends. Let the relationship be between you and him only!”

NPFL Slams N9m Fine, Stadium Ban on Katsina United Over Attack On Barau FC Player

The Nigeria Premier Football League has imposed a N9m fine on Katsina United.
It also ordered the club to play the rest of its home fixtures behind closed doors in Jos after violent scenes marred their 1–1 draw with Barau FC on Saturday
In a statement on Sunday, the league body cited multiple violations of its Framework and Rules, including failure to provide adequate security, poor crowd control, and allowing unauthorised individuals access to restricted areas. It said supporters threw dangerous objects onto the pitch, injuring several Barau FC players.

“The club failed to ensure proper conduct of their supporters, leading to the harassment of Barau FC players and match officials,” the NPFL said. “Furthermore, Katsina United supporters displayed conduct capable of bringing the game into disrepute.”
The sanctions include a N3m fine for throwing objects and misconduct, N2m for inadequate security, and N4m as compensation for medical treatment of injured players, damages to the visitors’ buses, and holding both the Barau FC team and match officials hostage after the game — bringing the total to N9m.
The NPFL also directed Katsina United to relocate to the New Jos Stadium, where they will host matches without fans in attendance. The club has 48 hours to appeal the verdict.
The decision followed reports that Barau FC’s Nana Abraham sustained a neck injury after being attacked by fans moments after scoring an equaliser in the 69th minute at the Muhammadu Dikko Stadium. Images from the scene showed the player bleeding as officials and security personnel battled to restore order before play resumed and ended 1–1.
Katsina United, however, denied any wrongdoing, describing the allegations as “entirely baseless.” The club’s media director, Nasir Gide, said no fan invaded the pitch and that security operatives kept control throughout the match.

“Katsina United Football Club is committed to professionalism, discipline, and fair play both on and off the pitch,” Gide stated, warning that legal action could follow if the “false reports” were not withdrawn.
The violent episode in Katsina comes just weeks after Kano Pillars faced similar punishment, including a N9.5m fine and stadium closure, following fan unrest in their October fixture against Shooting Stars.
