Gospel Singer, Woli Agba’s Home Invaded By Robbers

Popular Nigerian gospel singer, Ayobami Ajewole popularly known as Woli Agba has disclosed that his home was invaded by armed robbers.

The comedian shared his testimony of how he nearly experienced death after a group of armed men attacked him. He asked his fans to help him thank God for his life.

According to him, no life was lost as he and his family is safe. While expressing his gratitude to God, Woli Agba wrote:

“Armed robbers invaded my house.

God kept me and my family.

Life wasn’t taken.

I am grateful to God оооо

And this is my testimony. I was not taken away suddenly.

Songtress Tiwa Savage in the early hours of yesterday morning expressed her love for her former boss, Don Jazzy.

Tiwa Savage shared a video of Don Jazzy dancing to the new song titled “Stamina” and said that his handsomeness was beginning to ‘enter her eyes’ and she couldn’t hide it anymore.

“Ahh Ahh let me not talk before they misinterpret my words but it’s as if Don Jazzy dey enter person eye like this”, Tiwa Savage said.

In a new development, Don Jazzy has hit the gym after he was eulogized by Tiwa Savage.

In response, Tiwa commented, “Somebody cannot play with you again. Dis small waist that I am managing”.

Guinea-Bissau Clash: We’ll Do Everything To Win Back Love Of Nigerians, Says Osimhen

World-famous Nigerian footballer, Victor Osimhen has made a promise to Nigerians.

He promised that the Super Eagles “will do everything” to win back the love of Nigerians.

The striker made the pledge ahead of the upcoming African Cup of Nations (AFCON) double-header qualifying games against Guinea-Bissau.

Osimhen spoke in a chat with the media team of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) on Wednesday.

The Eagles missed out on the 2022 World Cup to Ghana, and the team failed to fully bounce back from the disappointment.

The Jose Peseiro-led team lost five of the seven games since losing the World Cup ticket. The last defeat was a 4-0 rout against Portugal in November 2022.

Osimhen said the players have learned from past mistakes and are now “in high spirits” to do better and qualify for the next AFCON competition.

He added that the Eagles “are ready to give our hearts” against Guinea-Bissau and ensure Nigeria gets the victory.

“We are looking forward to it, and I’m happy to be back with the squad. We expect amazing results from the two-legged games against Guinea-Bissau. We are ready, and the spirit is high,” Osimhen said.

“And we are ready to give our hearts on Friday and also in the second leg. We will give everything to make sure the fans are entertained and that we get the win and qualify for the next AFCON.

“I want to say [to Nigerians] thank you very much for your support. Thank you very much for sticking with me and the Super Eagles. And for your support throughout the years. I know we might have let you down in the past, and I want to say we will do everything in our power to make sure we win your love back.”

Nigeria will play Guinea Bissau at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja, on Friday before proceeding for the second leg of the tie at the Estadio 24 de Setembro in Bissau three days later.

The Eagles are leaders of Group A of the qualification round with six points from victories over Sierra Leone and Sao Tome and Principe.

Rema Reacts After Breaking Wizkid’s Record On Billboard Hot 100

Divine Ikubor, the Nigerian singer, who is popularly known as Rema has continued making history.

The singer reacted after making history with the remix of his globally acclaimed smash hit song, ‘Calm Down’ which featured American singer, Selena Gomez.

He recorded a historical milestone with the song as it became the highest-charting African song on Billboard Hot 100, breaking Wizkid’s record.

Wizkid, formerly held the record for the highest-charting Nigerian song on the Billboard Hot 100 after his smash tune ‘Essence,’ which featured Tems and Canadian pop star Justin Bieber, peaked at No. 9 on the chart.

In the latest development, the official billboard chart Twitter account announced that the 22-year-old Jonzing / Mavin Records signee had broken Wizzy’s record in a chart for March 25th, 2023.

Rema’s “Calm Down”, ft. Selena Gomez, peaked at the No. 8 position, making it the highest-charting Nigerian song on the Billboard Hot 100 chart so far.

Reacting to the colossal feat which threw him into an emotional state, Rema stressed how hard he worked to get to this point while expressing gratitude to God and love to those who’ve always believed in him as well as to Gomez.

“Trying to hold in the tears, I know how hard I worked to get my sound here, I’m grateful to God for how far I’ve come. Love to the ones who believed & love to the Queen @selenagomez”, he tweeted.

I Graduated From University At 18 – Ayra Starr

Nigerian singer/songwriter, Ayra Starr has revealed that she graduated from the University at the age of 18.

According to the singer, she got into school early because her mother was not going to let her do music until she had a degree and she desperately wanted to be a teenage pop star.

She revealed that she has a degree in International relations and political science and is currently planning on getting another one.

In her words:

“I was 18 actually. So my mum said I had to go to school first before she allowed me do any type of music. So it was school first, school first. I made sure I got into school early cos I wanted to become a teenage pop star.

“My goal was to become a teenage pop year so I knew I had to go to school early. So, I did my WAEC a year before I was supposed to graduate. I just tried it to be honest, I didn’t know if I was going to pass but I aced it you know. I aced it.

“So I got into school, I schooled in Benin republic and I graduated from the uni when I was 18. My course was 3 years. I have a degree in international relations and Political science. I’m thinking of getting another one. I have been so lazy, I don’t have the time but I’m taking French lesson, piano lessons and music lessons.”

The mother of one took to her Instagram page to celebrate her princely son with a succinct birthday wish.

She attached the message on an adorable photo of the birthday boy in a dashing suit.

“Happy Birthday Son,” she wrote simply.

Although, the singer is yet to wish his son a happy birthday on his social media page.

It would be recalled that it was reported that the singer welcomed the boy with the socialite in 2020, but didn’t acknowledge the boy as his until August 2022 when he stepped out with him in London.

La Liga has nominated Villareal and Nigeria international forward, Samuel Chukwueze for Player of the Month for March.
The nomination comes after Chukwueze’s impressive performance for the Yellow Submarine side.
Villarreal picked seven points from three La Liga games in the month.
The 23-year-old assisted three of the six goals scored by the club in March.
Six other players were also nominated for the award.
The other nominees are Antione Griezmann, David Silva, Raphinha, Iago Aspas and Borja Iglesias.

Ramadan Begins On Thursday – Sultan Of Sokoto

The Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar, has announced that the new crescent has been sighted, which marks the beginning of Ramadan 1444AH.

The President-General of the Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA), disclosed this in a live broadcast held on Wednesday evening, March 22, calling on Muslims to pray for Nigeria during the holy month.

“Today Wednesday, the 29th day of Shaaban 1444 AH, which is equivalent to 22nd of March 2023 marks the end of the month of Shaaban.

After receiving reports of moon sighting from Muslim leaders and organizations across the length and breadth of our great country, which were duly authenticated and verified by the state and National Moon Sighting Committees, consequently tomorrow Thursday 23rd day of March 2023 becomes the first day of Ramadan 1444 AH. We therefore called on all Muslims to commence fasting accordingly.

As we just concluded the 2023 general elections, and leaders emerged at national and state levels by Allah’s will. We therefore called on all Muslims to use this Holy Month for extra prayers for their successes in steering the affairs of our great country.” the Sultan said.

Sensational Afrobeats star, Divine Ikubor popularly known as Rema, marks four years anniversary in the Nigerian music industry.

Rema became a music sensation after releasing his hit single Dumebi after he signed a contract with Jonzing World, an offshoot of Mavin Records in 2019, and has since then been releasing hit tracks on a steady.

The talented music artist took to his Twitter page to reveal that it’s the fourth year since he hit the spot light in the Nigerian music space.

He thanked his fans for sticking with him through the four years and listening to his songs.
