Al Hilal, Ronaldo’s direct rivals, are set to make an irresistible salary offer to Lionel Messi in order to lure him to Saudi Arabia.
As direct rivals of Al Nassr, who recently completed the signing of Cristiano Ronaldo, Saudi Arabia clubs appear to have their sights set on making their league one of the largest in the world. Al Hilal is set to make an irresistible salary offer to PSG star and World Cup winner Lionel Messi.
According to Spanish news outlet Mundo Deportivo, Messi, who is currently the ambassador of the Visit Saudi campaign, is set to be offered a salary bid worth up to 300 million euros per year, which is twice the amount Ronaldo is paid at Al Nassr.
The Saudi government is expected to provide Al Hilal with the necessary financial support to make the bid possible, believing that having two of the greatest players in football history would improve the quality and structure of the Saudi League.
With Messi’s contract at PSG expiring in June 2023, there has been speculation about where the Argentine legend will play next, as many clubs have expressed interest in the world cup winner.
