Zamfara Governor Reacts After Appeal Court Ruled His Election Inconclusive

Zamfara State Governor, Dauda Lawal has reacted after he was sacked as Governor of the state by a ruling given by the Appeal Court on Thursday.
Reacting, he said the verdict is a temporary setback for his administration.
The court’s three-judge panel declared the Zamfara State governorship election inconclusive on Thursday, ordering a rerun in three local government areas: Maradun, Birnin-Magaji, and Bukkuyum.
A statement released on Friday by the governor’s spokesman, Sulaiman Bala Idris, insisted that Governor Lawal was elected due to dissatisfaction with the state’s prevailing conditions.
