Sophia Etomi, a fast emerging model affectionately known as Etomisophia, has firmly stated that she will not resort to nudity, regardless of the financial incentives, to gain fame or fortune.
It is a world where modesty is now seen as old fashioned. To “blow,” one may have to bare it all, including revealing sensitive parts of the body in motion and still pictures to get noticed.
For a truth, bad stuff sells in this part faster than ice in the desert. In the last few years, young Nigerians n a bid to make it quicker than their talents would enable them, did some terrible things, including “S*x on the tape,” involving a renowned singer famed for her stage performance.
However, Sophia Etomi believes there is more to life than nudity.
When asked in an interview if she could go n*ked to model an outfit, Sophia Etomi said: “I believe in modesty. When I’m too exposed, I always tend to take two steps back. Fashion modeling goes way beyond exposing myself to get recognized.”
Despite this personal stand of hers, Sophia Etomi, who is seen as a young boss in the making however added that there are people who would not see anything wrong in exposing themselves to catch cruise.’
“People are different.Some people seem very confident with showing a lot of skin. Sometimes I get uncomfortable with it,” she stressed.
Etomisophia added that she is not under any form of pressure to be who she is not.
“I am not pressured at all; instead, I am my own motivation. I try to be better,do my own thing at my own pace so that I can take things seriously and put in the right amount of effort and time required for me to get satisfaction from what I put my effort in.
“Although, there are certain necessities that come to me like pressure but it’s something that I handle without too much fuss,” Sophia Etomi told our correspondent.
