“I’m waking up in the morning, I’m number one on the call sheet. I’m hearing people call me number one; people are attending to me. I felt like I was Wura,” she said.

She explained that the situation became intense after filming, as she struggled to return to her normal self while taking on other roles.

According to her, the experience got so overwhelming that she had to seek therapy to help her transition out of the character.

“I had to do therapy after Wura because it was bad. I went back to my YouTube jobs and I’m supposed to play the victim, and somebody is talking to me and I’m looking at the person like, ‘Do you know who I am?

I can just kill you now, nobody will find your body.’ My brain was bad. I knew I needed therapy,” sheadded.

The leading actress in Wura further noted that the experience taught her an important lesson about acting and mental health.

She concluded that getting into character is easier than getting out of it, especially when you’ve played it for a long time.
