


The Ogun state police command has confirmed reports that its officers attempted to arrest singer Portable at his bar on Tuesday, March 28.
It was earlier reported that pandemonium broke out at singer Portable’s bar in the Sango area of Ogun State yesterday after some men of the Nigerian police force invaded the facility in an attempt to arrest him.
Videos of the incident that made the rounds on social media showed the “Zazu Zeh” crooner making a scene as he resisted arrest, read more on 626Blaze.
Portable, who went live on Instagram during the drama, is seen confronting the officers as he asks what he had done to warrant the arrest.
He asked the officers to show their ID cards while reiterating that he’d not committed any crime.

Confirming the incident, the state police spokesperson, Abimbola Oyeyemi, told the BBC that Portable was asked to report himself to the police on five occasions, but he refused to honor the invitation.
Abimbola disclosed that the “Zazu Zeh” star was invited for questioning after a report was lodged against him.
“We have also sent an invitation to him through his father twice for questioning after a report was lodged against him. The police approached a court to get an arrest warrant for him following his refusal to honour the invitation.
On sighting the police, Portable stripped himself naked so as to create a scene. Portable is not bigger than the law. We are going to use minimum force to arrest him,” he said.

The former deputy governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos state was watching Portable’s live band performance on Echo Room and she was impressed.
Funke Akindele said the Zazuu star is real and she went on to urge other entertainers to be be like him.
She was trying to make artistes realise that they will go far in the industry if they have their unique and original style.

The controversial singer, who was physically assaulted days back, revealed the good news on his Instagram page moments ago as he shared videos of the bar.
Sharing an important advice with his millions of followers, he told them to never stop believing in miracle and hoping.

Popular Nigerian street artist, Habeeb Okikiola aka Portable stormed Agege community to give back to society.
The singer who recently celebrated his birthday visited a market in Agege, Lagos to set smiles on the faces of some locals who were there.
He visited several stores, buying some food items such as cartons of spaghetti and giving them out.
The ‘Zazzo’ crooner at one of the stores he visited met a girl who was still in her school uniform.
She appeared to be a big fan of Portable as he embraced her and promised to give her N100K. He could be seen trying to make transaction with a POS operator to make the money available to her.

The disc jockey, Rexxie released a hit track in which he featured the Afrobeats start Wizkid and Portable who was unimpressed by it decides to mock them.
Portable mimicked the lyrics of their song which elicited laughter from his friends who were in the background listening.
He mocked Rexxie and Wizkid’s song and wondered why they can’t just pray instead, since they don’t know how to sing.
The Zazoo star advised them to pray for music prowess because they’re clearly not good enough.

The musician, who is constantly making the headlines for various reasons, showed off the white whip he recently got.
In the photos he excitedly shared on his Instagram page, the sleek white Range Rover which was still parked at the dealership was decorated with red ribbons and balloons.
Apparently, the pricey car had come as a gift from signing a brand ambassadorial deal.

Controversial street singer, Portable has taken to Instagram to rant after he showed off wads of fake naira notes sprayed on him by fans.
He went for a show in Sagamu Ogun state, on Saturday, February 18, and his fans sprayed him some ‘’money” during his performance.
However, when he got back to his hotel, he checked the money and was surprised to find out they were all ‘’fake money”.
Sharing videos of the fake money, the singer said;
‘’It will never be well with you all. The country is scattered. So you guys have started printing money. Don’t worry. Me too I will start buy machine that will be used to print money.
I went for a show in Sagamu yesterday. They did not spray original money. See the money they sprayed Super star. I don’t know this one o. They have started printing moiney in their house. The government caused this. Uncle Buhari where are you. See what you caused.”
