BBNaija Star, Phyna Blows Hot After She Was Refused Entry Into Imisi’s Birthday Party (Video)

Josephina Otabor, the reality TV star, who is popularly known as Phyna, has sparked online reactions after being denied entry to the birthday party of 2025 Big Brother Naija winner, Imisi.

The incident happened at the event venue on Tuesday, January 27, 2026.

In the clip, Phyna appeared angry and embarrassed as she spoke about what happened at the entrance.

According to her account, she was prevented from going inside because she was livestreaming the event for her fans.

She explained that the organizers and security officials asked her to put down her camera before she could be allowed in, but she did not agree with the instruction.

Phyna said she felt the demand was unnecessary, especially since her intention was to support Imisi on her special day and not to cause any problem.

She believed she was treated unfairly and questioned why the rule seemed to apply only to her.

She also raised concerns about what she described as double standards, noting that other popular content creators or livestreamers might not have been treated the same way if they were in her position.

Security officials at the venue reportedly maintained that recording and filming were not allowed inside the party.

However, Phyna felt the rule was not enforced equally, which led to the tense moment at the entrance.

She said: “If na Speed or Peller come here, you go tell them to drop camera? I came here to support Imisi, not to cause any problem.

“You people are embarrassing me for no reason. Why is it only me you are stopping? These people said I should drop my camera before entering. I don’t understand why this rule is for me alone.”

Just Days After Enrolling In University, Peller Drops Out, Explains Why (Video)

Popular TikTok creator Habeeb Hamzat, widely known as Peller, has hinted that he may not return to school, just days after celebrating his admission to study law at a private university in Lagos State.

Peller made the disclosure in a voice note shared on his channel on Tuesday, where he complained that attending school was affecting his ability to make money.

“Guys, I swear to God, I remember I said I am going to school… I am not going again. I am not going again,” he said.

The content creator explained that spending hours in class without earning income made the experience unacceptable to him.

“I just remember, I was inside class for four hours. I didn’t make any money. I will write, I will look, I will play, not making anything. God forbid. I am not doing that one again,” he said.

Peller also claimed he felt out of place among other students, describing himself as the youngest person in the class.

“When I enter the school, I notice that everyone is old, I am the only young blood there,” he added.

He further stated that he would consider returning to school later in life.

“So I need to go old. Maybe when I clock like 30, 40 years, I will now go to school. Please cancel everything. I am tired,” he said.

The development marks a sharp reversal from Peller’s recent public celebration of his admission into a law programme.

Recall that the TikTok sensation had, in a video that went viral on Saturday, announced that he had secured admission to study law at a private university in Lagos State, although he declined to disclose the name of the institution.

In the video, Peller expressed excitement over the admission and appeared to respond to critics who had mocked his educational background.

“Everyone has been criticising me for not being educated, as if I’m the first person who didn’t attend university. Now, all of you should leave social media, because I’m in school,” he said.

“I’m now studying law. You can see it, right? You can’t mess with me anymore. I know the law,” he added.

Recall that the content creator has faced sustained criticism online over his grammar and educational background, with some users describing him as “uneducated.”

Earlier this month, Peller had disclosed plans to further his education, noting that the decision was partly aimed at improving his spoken English.

He has also been in the public eye following a controversy surrounding the visit of American streamer IShowSpeed to Nigeria.

It’s Easy For Girls To Move On Quickly – Nigerian TikToker, Jarvis Says After Breakup With Peller

Jarvis, the Nigerian TikTok star, has claimed that women find it easier to move on quickly after a breakup than men.

Jarvis made the claim amidst her recent messy breakup with fellow Nigerian content creator, Peller.

Speaking in a video broadcast, Jarvis said being “classy” and confident in herself made it easy for her to move on.

“It is easy for girls to move on fast [after a breakup]. No time. What were you expecting? I am classy, I am everything I want to be. So, it is not hard for us to move on,” she said.

While Jarvis is saying she has moved on, Peller appears to still be brooding over the breakup as he recently vowed never to give love a second chance.

He also vowed never to marry a Nigerian woman.

It would be recalled that in December last year, Peller was involved in a deliberate car accident to end his life over breakup threats from Jarvis. He later confirmed they had parted ways weeks after the accident.

Why Peller Couldn’t Further His Education After Completing Secondary School – Jarvis

Popular content creator Elizabeth Aminata, widely known as Jarvis, has addressed claims that her ex-boyfriend and live streamer, Peller, is illiterate, setting the record straight.

During a recent livestream, Jarvis explained that Peller attended school and completed his secondary education.

She said he has a WAEC certificate and should not be described as uneducated because he did not go to the university.

According to her, there is a clear difference between someone who never went to school and someone who could not continue schooling.

She said Peller did not attend a higher institution because of financial problems, adding that many young Nigerians face the same situation.

Jarvis said that lack of money often stops people from going further in school, and this should not be used to judge their intelligence or worth.

Jarvis also shared details about her own education, saying she was able to attend the university mainly because she received support after becoming popular online.

She explained that not everyone gets the same chances in life and that success should not be judged only by certificates.

Her comments came weeks after she and Peller announced the end of their relationship in December 2025.

The pair were well known for their joint live streams and public outings, which made their breakup a popular topic on social media.

Peller remains one of the most followed Nigerian live streamers on TikTok, where he is known for his casual way of speaking.

In past interviews, he said he often changes how he talks online to connect better with viewers and grow his audience.

Streaming Is A Game Of Shamelessness – Cubana Chief Priest Defends Peller’s Hustle Amid IShowSpeed Snub

Socialite Cubana Chief Priest has come to the defense of TikToker Peller after his failed attempt to meet international streamer iShowSpeed during the latter’s recent visit to Lagos.

IShowSpeed arrived in Lagos on Wednesday, coinciding with his 21st birthday celebration.

Although Peller did not secure a meeting with the streamer, his efforts have sparked widespread online attention.

Reacting via Instagram, Chief Priest praised Peller’s persistence and drive, while criticising the tendency of some people to belittle others’ ambitions. He commended the TikToker’s bold and unapologetic pursuit of success, attributing his rising popularity to that fearless approach.

Chief Priest also suggested that iShowSpeed’s decision not to meet Peller may have been a calculated move rather than a snub.

He wrote, “Why do we like to tear down our own brothers’ hustles or energy down? Small boy like Peller deh hustle him way to meet speed wey Dey at the top for the business wey him dey do una use am dey mock am.

“There is no shame in hustle. I celebrate Peller’s energy to achieve his dream. Now you guys see why he is bigger than most of you, because he is ready to push shamelessly. Speed Dey naija but na Peller dey trend.

“Una no really cherishes una own all you want is to bring your own down so you can mock & laugh at the person, but indirectly you are pushing the person up.

“Streaming is a game of shamelessness. At the end of the day, are you entertained? Peller will never stop being big because the hunger is there, so let him cook. If you follow Speed’s stream, he gets rejected, too, so what’s the big deal?

“The ignore from speed to Peller is deliberate; he knows the boy. It’s a management issue. The push from Peller is amazing, that’s how you go for what you want, and above all, never shy away from rejections, it must come. Keep pushing for the Top.”
