Doris added that her time here is limited but said she would say the truth with what time she has.

She wrote: “I will tell you the pastors I’ve encountered. Their roles in my life.

“I will mention 4 pastors. All of them have given me money one way or other.

“But what was the reason for the money.

“Most times the money comes with a lot of plea and insults.

“One thing is common.

“1. suleman, 2. Chris, 3. Jeremaih, 4. Jerry.”

Doris added: “God is not done yet. People think i am going crazy. Yes since my brothers death, everything means nothing anymore.

“You see these pastors, they are not good people.

“When my brother was dying. I reached out. I begged and begged and begged. Because I spent everything I had trying to save my brother. These people ignored me and my brother d!ed.

“I was stranded. Immediately my brother d!ed. That was when they decided to start sending money.

“Do you know why? I will tell you.

“I will explain everything one after the other.

“They are not nice people.

“Even now, I am spending a lot of money. Police, lawyers,

“Mentally I’m not okay. Yet you will never see them.

“The moment someone d!es now. They will send millions.

“You can insult me ooo

“No problem. But I am doing what the lord wants me to do.

“My greatest mistake was asking one of them for assistance this my trying period. I wish I never did.

“I will tell everything so I will be free.

“My time here is limited.

“THIS DORIS YOU ARE SEEING HERE IS NOT OKAY.

“NOTHING IN THIS WORLD WILL MAKE ME HAPPY ANYMORE. THE DEATH OF MY BROTHER TOOK A PART OF ME.

“ONE OF THESE PASTORS HURT ME DEEPLY WITH THE WAY HE HUMILIATED ME.

“IF BY ANY CHANCE I MENTION YOUR FAVOURITE. AND YOU THINK YOUR INSULT WILL STOP ME.

“YOU ARE WASTING YOUR TIME.

“These people WERE NOT NICE TO ME.

“THEY DID a ALOT OF DAMAGE TO ME MENTALLY.”

All Hell Broke Loose After My Wedding Planner Leaked My Remarriage Plan – Pastor Chris Okafor Says

Dr Chris Okafor, a televangelist and founding pastor of the Mountain of Liberation and Miracle Ministry, has condemned what he described as cyberbullying and called for regulation of the nation’s cyberspace.

Okafor made the call at a news conference on Thursday in Lagos, calling to explain his displeasure with most bloggers and online influencers in Nigeria.

The News Agency of Nigeria, NAN, recalls that in November 2025, Nollywood actress, Doris Ogala, accused Okafor of a long-term affair and breaking a promise to marry her.

The actress also accused the pastor of murdering her brother and also burying the head of a murdered unidentified person at his altar, in his church, located in Ojodu area of the state.

The pastor said that while his media trial was going on, what remained most painful was the fact that the bloggers and influencers were all bullying him on an allegation without evidence or hearing from him.

“It is so sad that most of the so-called influencers we have often connived with people to come up with fabulous lies to attract traffic to their blogs.

“Many Nigerians have suffered and are still suffering from the lies of bloggers and most often, they get away with it after destroying the image of their targets.

“Very few times, some of the influencers were arrested and dragged to court but 90 per cent of them often go free for far-fetched lies against people.

“Nigeria must find a way to safeguard its internet space, especially to ensure that innocent citizens do not get shattered over lies, demeaning their image,” he said.

The pastor said there is need for the National Assembly to come up with legislation that would not only regulate the nation’s internet but ensure that offenders are punished as deterrent to others.

He urged the cyber police to do more in tracing internet offences and fishing out offenders.

Recalling his ordeal, Okafor lamented that majority of bloggers and some Nigerians failed to ask the necessary questions on the allegation.

“The same person who accused me of murder is the same person crying that I want to abandon her and marry someone else. How could she want to marry someone who allegedly killed her brother?

“There is so much about the matter than meets the ordinary eye, and so many unanswered questions and glaring lies.

“The allegations were coming from a woman I never met. Then my ex-wife joined and came up with me allegedly trying to defile one of our daughters.

“The same ex-wife and daughter have gone to a popular blogger to ask that I pay for their school fees and upkeep abroad of about N80 million. The same father trying to defile them? Which woman will do that?

“All these began after my plans to remarry was leaked by our wedding planner. All hell broke loose and everyone tries to cash in on it.

”In our divorce proceedings in 2014,  which I instituted at an Ikeja court, the reasons on the document were infidelity, violence, lack of love and the marriage was dissolved for irreconcilable differences.

“At no point during the proceedings did my ex-wife mention I was trying to defile our daughter. The court awarded me custody of our children, and no one queried those allegations.

“If, as a pastor, I can survive these lies, what happens to an average Nigerian?”

Okafor reassured his members and Nigerians that the truth would eventually unfold, assuring that truth must prevail and offenders would not go unpunished.

“In the 55 years of my existence on earth, I have never been arrested for any crime or offence. It is so sad how far people can go to destroy,” he added.

Court Orders Doris Ogala, VeryDarkMan To Stop Talking Or Releasing Videos And Pictures Of Pastor Chris Okafor

The Lagos State High Court in Ikeja has directed Nollywood actress Doris Ogala, social media influencer Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VDM, and Kelvin Chimaobi Emmanuel to refrain from sharing videos or images of Pastor Chris Okafor, founder of Grace Nation International (also known as Liberation City), on social media or any other media platforms.

Justice Akintunde Savage, who gave the ruling on Thursday, also restrained Doris and VDM from mentioning or referring to Pastor Chris or his ministry, whether orally or in writing, on any platform, pending the determination of a substantive suit filed by the cleric.

The Judge further restrained the defendants from releasing to the public or to third parties any materials allegedly intended to blackmail or extort money from the claimant, pending the final determination of the suit.

Okafor is the claimant in the suit marked ID/14399GCMW/2026, while Doris Ogala, VDM, and Kelvin Emmanuel are listed as the first, second, and third defendants, respectively.

The ex parte application was brought pursuant to Order 43, Rules 1, 2, and 7 of the High Court of Lagos State (Civil Procedure) Rules 2019, as well as under the court’s inherent jurisdiction.

In his ruling on the application filed by Okafor through his counsel, Ife Ajayi, Justice Savage also barred the defendants and their agents from publishing, releasing, or circulating any alleged private materials relating to the claimant, including chats, conversations, text messages, pictures, images, or videos.

Justice Savage also granted an order for substituted service of the claimant’s originating processes, including the writ of summons, list of witnesses, statements on oath, and other documents, through publication in a national newspaper.

The matter was thereafter adjourned to February 2, 2026, for hearing.

Lagos Police Explain Decision To Suspend S3xual Assault Investigation Involving Pastor Chris Okafor

The Lagos State Police Command has clarified the reasons behind the temporary suspension of its investigation into multiple r@pe and related allegations against Chris Okafor, founder of the Mountain of Liberation and Miracle Ministry.

Earlier, the Commissioner of Police, Olohundare Jimoh, had ordered an investigation and directed Mr. Okafor to report to the State Criminal Investigation Department at Panti.

He later disclosed that the case had been transferred to the Assistant Inspector-General of Police in charge of Zone 2, Sylvester Alabi, for further action.

Providing an update, the command’s spokesperson, Abimbola Adebisi, said the probe was halted after the complainants invited by police failed to appear. She also said the command could not run a parallel inquiry while the Zone 2 Command was handling the case under the supervision of Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun.

“There has not been further investigation from the command,”
Ms. Adebisi noted. “I do not know if you are aware that he was invited. They came around, and that was when we discovered that he had similar petitions which they are still under investigation. So, the CP directed us to halt. When it is done with them in Zone 2, we will reopen ours.

“And all the complainants we have been calling on have refused to show up. For now, we are not pressing further. We are not pushing the complainants further. We just wait. And when Zone 2 is done, then we will wait for the outcome. And we will know the next line of action. He was released on self-recognition to proceed to Zone 2 for further investigation there.”

The controversy around Mr. Okafor began in December 2025 after actress Doris Ogala accused him of reneging on a promise of marriage and claimed the alleged betrayal caused her emotional distress.

As allegations spread, the cleric issued a public apology to Ms. Ogala and other women he said he had wronged, while also accusing his ex-wife, Bessem, of adultery. She denied the accusation and in turn alleged she had suffered physical abuse during the marriage.

Amid the public dispute, Mr. Okafor announced he would step aside from ministerial duties for one month.

Pastor Chris Okafor Dares Actress Doris Ogala, VDM To Submit Evidence Or Face Prosecution

The legal team of Lagos-based cleric Chris Okafor has urged Nollywood actress Doris Ogala, social media influencer Martins Vincent Otse, known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), and other bloggers to provide evidence supporting their allegations against him to the Nigerian Police, warning that failure to do so could lead to criminal prosecution.

Addressing journalists in Lagos on Wednesday, counsel to the cleric, Ife Ajayi, Lead Partner at Sovereignty LP, described the allegations circulating on social media as false, malicious and part of what he termed a coordinated campaign of cyberbullying, blackmail and public incitement.

Ajayi said the allegations, which gained renewed traction in December 2025, originated from Ogala and were amplified by bloggers and digital platforms without seeking his client’s response.

“Our client is a private citizen and a law-abiding Nigerian. What has played out is not advocacy or responsible journalism, but a calculated attempt to try him in the court of public opinion,”
Ajayi said.

Tracing the origin of the matter, Ajayi said it began in late 2024 following a business engagement involving Ogala and a third party, from which Pastor Okafor later disengaged after concluding that the expected outcome could not be achieved.

He said Ogala subsequently alleged that the cleric owed her ₦45 million, a claim he described as unfounded.

According to Ajayi, the allegations later evolved from monetary claims to alleged romantic involvement and, eventually, accusations bordering on criminal conduct.

“Each time one allegation failed to gain traction, another followed. It was a systematic attempt to see what would stick,”
he said.

Ajayi disclosed that Ogala had previously been arrested and charged for cyberstalking, cyberbullying and threats over similar online conduct, a matter that was later resolved through an out-of-court settlement adopted by the court.

He said under the terms of the settlement, Ogala received an agreed sum and undertook not to contact or mention Pastor Okafor publicly.

“At no point during those proceedings did she allege rape, sexual assault or an affair. Those claims only emerged after the settlement was allegedly breached,”
he stated.

The lawyer said fresh complaints were lodged with the Nigeria Police following renewed online attacks, leading to Ogala’s arrest and interrogation shortly before Christmas 2025.

According to him, Ogala denied some of the more serious allegations attributed to her online during police questioning and requested legal representation.

“She was later granted administrative bail on medical grounds and warned not to return to social media with unsubstantiated claims,”
Ajayi said.

He alleged that despite the warning, fresh allegations resurfaced online, including claims of sexual offences and the presentation of individuals as victims.

Ajayi accused VDM and other platforms of abusing their influence by soliciting allegations from the public and presenting them as established facts.

“You cannot be the accuser, investigator, prosecutor and judge at the same time. Allegations of rape or murder must be reported to law enforcement,” he said.

He added that formal criminal complaints had been filed against individuals spreading the allegations and that dozens of social media accounts were under monitoring.

Ajayi stressed that Pastor Okafor had cooperated fully with police investigations, honoured all invitations and provided evidence countering allegations of rape, child abuse or murder.

He said the Lagos State Commissioner of Police directed the State Criminal Investigation Department, Panti, to handle the matter, adding that the cleric was released after responding to inquiries.

“There was never a case of evading police invitation,”
 he said.

Ajayi challenged Ogala, VDM and others to submit their allegations and evidence to the police.

“If they believe their claims, let them present evidence to law enforcement. Otherwise, we will pursue all available legal remedies,”
he warned.

He urged the public to allow the police to conclude investigations and cautioned against mob justice driven by social media narratives.

“This is a society governed by law. Social media outrage cannot replace investigation, evidence and trial,”
he said.
