His Properties Were Never Thrown Out, It Was Moved To His New Office – Mc Oluomo’s Son Clarifies

King Westt, the son of the new NURTW National leader, Mc Oluomo, has reacted to reports alleging that his father’s belongings were thrown out of the NURTW Lagos office.

Taking to social media, King West set the record straight.

King Westt explained that his father’s belongings were relocated to his new office in Abuja and not removed due to any alleged conflict.

He says it is normal for properties to be evacuated when a leader leaves, and another resumes.

His words; ”Y’all should be wise and smart for once!” he wrote. “Immediately a leader leaves office, a successor comes in. So do you expect the president of NURTW to remain in the state office? That’s not possible!!”

“All his things are packed out from his former office to his new office… Come to Abuja and you’ll meet us there… Get the address online, peeps.”

MC Oluomo’s Belongings Thrown Out Of NURTW Office After Court Ruling

Following a court verdict sacking MC Oluomo as President of the NURTW, his belongings have been reportedly thrown out of office.
A video showing the belongings outside has now surfaced online.
Recall that MC Oluomo had appealed the ruling that upheld Alhaji Tajudeen Ibikunle Baruwa as the legitimate President of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) before losing.
The court dismissed the challenge brought by Musiliu Ayinde Akinsanya, popularly known as MC Oluomo, and his supporters.
A trending video has surfaced, showing several of his belongings, including numerous portraits, packed outside the NURTW office.

Court Sacks MC Oluomo As NURTW President, Affirms Baruwa

The Abuja Division of the Court of Appeal has removed Musiliu Akinsanya, popularly known as MC Oluomo, from his position as the National President of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW).

The court also affirmed Tajudeen Ibikunle Baruwa as the authentic President of NURTW.

The court also affirmed the judgment of the Industrial Court delivered on the 11th of March 2024 in respect of Suit No. NICN/ABJ/263/2023.

The court held that the appeal filed by Najeem Usman Yasin, Tajudeen Agbede and others challenging the decision of the Industrial Court that recognised Baruwa as President lacked merits and therefore dismissed it.

In a Certified True Copy (CTC) of the judgement with Appeal No. CA/ABJ//CV/293/2024 delivered on Friday, by a three-member panel; Justice Hamma Akawu Barka, Nnamdi Okwy Dimgba and Asmau Ojuolape Akanbi said Baruwa is the legally elected President of NURTW.

The appellate court also awarded the sum of N100,000 against the Appellant in favour of the Respondents.

MC Oluomo was recently elected and sworn in as the National President of the Union.

But, Baruwa described MC Oluomo’s action as blatant disregard and disrespect for the rule of law and an affront to the judiciary.

Baruwa disclosed this during a press conference in Abuja.

MC Oluomo Emerges NURTW National President

Musliu Akinsanya, popularly known as ‘MC Oluomo,’ has been elected National President of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) following a consensus vote by union stakeholders and delegates.

He emerged on Saturday evening at the Quadrennial Delegate Conference at its Zonal Secretariat in Osogbo, Osun State on Saturday.

Four South West States, including Ogun, Lagos, Ekiti and Ondo participated in the election after the position was zoned to the region by the national body.

The conference, which produced Akinsanya was supervised by the acting National President of the union, Aliyu Issa-Ore, who noted that the union’s constitution provided that the zone which turn it is to produce the president-elect and present such person to the National Secretariat.

Issa-Ore, who was represented by the Head of Finance, National Headquarters, Abuja, Mrs Adedamola Salam, applauded the southwest zone for complying with the constitution and electing Akinsanya as the president.

The delegate also elected Tajudeen Agbede as its Vice President Southwest and Akeem Adeosun, as trustee from the zone.

After after taking oath of office, Oluomo urged every members to allow peace reign reiterating his commitment to unity in the union.

“I have forgiven everyone that offends me and I wished those I offend would forgive me as well. This is our union and we must be committed to its preservation. We will not allow anyone to destroy our means of livelihood,” he stated.

MC Oluomo Appointed As NURTW South West Acting Chairman

Musiliu Akinsanya, popularly known as MC Oluomo, has been appointed as the acting South West chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW).

The union leadership made the unanimous appointment on Thursday during the Zonal Conference held at Zone 2 Council Secretariat in Osogbo, the Osun State capital.

The leadership of the union announced Akinsanya as acting chairman of the zone pending the time when the election would be held later this month.

The union pleaded with Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, Ondo State Governor Rotimi Akeredolu and Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde to reinstate the activities of NURTW in their states.

According to the NURTW leadership, the reinstatement would afford the zone the opportunity to nominate candidates for the national president of the union zoned to South West.

MC Oluomo Announces His Return To NURTW

Alhaji Musiliu Akinsanya popularly known as MC Oluomo, has announced his return to the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW).

This followed the lifting of his suspension and other members in the South-West by the factional President of the body, Alhaji Tajudeen Agbede.

Speaking at an event on Thursday, Akinsanya lauded the Lagos State governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu for his support towards the union during the ‘trying periods’ while describing the transition as a new dawn in the organisation to its “original home”.

The popular transport leader was in April 2022 suspended by the NURTW in the peak of the crisis with the President, Alhaji Tajudeen Baruwa, while he was immediately appointed by the state governor as the Chairman of Parks Management Committee.

A year and four months, Oluomo said yesterday he was back home, while thanking the governor for his support.

He reiterated the Union’s commitment towards supporting the THEMES agenda of the Lagos State governor and also ensuring uniting all members irrespective of affiliations.

He said, “As we transcend from Lagos State Parks and Garages to NURTW. The revamped NURTW (both at the National Level and State Level in Lagos Sate) will not rest in our oars to support the Themes agenda of His Excellency in Lagos State. As we all aware that in the Themes agenda, T represents Transportation. We are therefore using this medium to reiterate our full corporation to all the giant strides of His Excellency in the Transportation Sector in Lagos State.

“We might be transiting in mere name change, but we will not deviate from the necessary supports, cooperation and the cordial relationship that existed between us LASPG and the Lagos State Governor through the Ministry of Transportation.

“As it is being opined that “Unity is “progress” the Alhaji Musiliu Ayinde Akinsanya led Lagos NURTW is geared towards uniting all members irrespective of affiliations. While also using this medium to embrace all Union members hitherto outside to come home and by the grace of God, they will be adequately inculcated back into the mainstream Lagos NURTW.”

NURTW Reinstates MC Oluomo Months After His Suspension

The National Union of Road Transport Workers, (NURTW) has lifted the suspension of the chairman of the Lagos chapter of the union, Musiliu Akinsanya, popularly known as MC Oluomo.

Recall that MC Oluomo was suspended in March 2023 over alleged misconduct, insubordination and incitement.

MC Oluomo was accused of planning to instigate mayhem in the union branches in Lagos who failed to obey his instructions.

In a recent letter, however, addressed to MC Oluomo, the general secretary of the union, Kayode Agbeyangi, said the decision to lift the suspension on the Lagos chapter chairman was taken during the union’s emergency central working committee meeting (CWC) on August 31.

“I am directed to notify you that your suspension from office as the Lagos state chairman of our great union is hereby lifted with effect from today, 1st of September, 2023,” Agbeyanji said.

“The above decision was taken during an emergency Central Working Committee meeting (CWC) of the union dated 31st August 2023 at the NURTW National Secretariat office complex, plot 1236 Sapele Street Garki II, Abuja.

“While thanking you for your cooperation and understanding, please accept the renewed assurance of our highest regards,” the NURTW letter read.

Chairman Lagos State Parks and Garages, Musiliu Akinsanya aka MC Oluomo is celebrating one of his sons, Ololade, who graduated from the Massachusett Institute of Technology in the United States of America.

The proud dad shared a photo of Ololade on Instagram and wrote;

‘’Today, I celebrate my son, Ololade Abdulai Akinsanya . He has graduated from MIT, one of the highest-ranked universities globally, with a double major in Chemical Engineering and Business Management, maintaining a remarkable 4.0 GPA. The moment Chairman of the Lagos Parks And Garages Management Committee, Musiliu Akinsanya, aka Mc Oluomo, publicly snubbed Shina Peller, a member of the 9th National Assembly at an event has been shared online.

The politician had arrived the party and was going about to greet his friends when he met with MC Oluomo.

His attempt to shake MC Oluomo was totally rebuffed as the former NURTW chairman refused to shake him and could be seen expressing his displeasure with Mr. Peller to other attendees of the event.

Actor Adeniyi Johnson Hails MC Oluomo After Receiving Rams From Him

Nigerian actor, Adeniyi Johnson has taken to Instagram to celebrate former NURTW chairman, Musiliu Ayinde Akinsanya, popularly known as MC Oluomo, for gifting him two rams.

Adeniyi and his wife, Seyi Edun welcomed a set of twins on the 27th of February, 2023 after 7 years of marriage.

The actor, after receiving gifts from MC Oluomo took to social media to appreciate him, adding that he and “his family is grateful”.

He Wrote:
