Destiny Etiko, the Nollywood actress, has publicly criticized an unnamed colleague for behavior she described as deeply hurtful and damaging to her reputation.
In a post on Instagram, she said she has forgiven the person involved but cannot forget the betrayal, which has caused her personal pain and distress for her family.
Etiko revealed that her mother has been emotionally affected by the controversy, receiving multiple calls about the situation.
She wrote: “You asked for forgiveness and I forgave u But I can’t forget cos this is an abomination and a dent to my name over something I can’t imagine let alone executing 💔 U fabricated so many lies against me just because people you were with was applauding me for been a good child to mother 💔 🥲
“I can’t remember hurting u. I have forgiven but I cant forget. Am pained cos my mom herself has received a lot of calls as regards to this 😭
She is saddened and disappointed that u could do this been a Christian ☹️. Pls can u tell the world why u would betray the one you call sister 💔”
Although no names were mentioned, the timing and details of the post have led many fans to link the dispute to a specific Nollywood actress, Ekene Umenwa.
