Big Brother Naija housemate Thelma Lawson has admitted that she initially assumed her colleague, Imisi, was a traditional worshipper due to her style of dressing and makeup.
She disclosed this during a conversation with Imisi and Kaybobo in the kitchen after the Saturday night Turnup.
Imisi clarified that she is a Christian and not a traditional worshiper.
“Imisi you be Christian? The kain make up when you dey do, I think say you be traditional worshiper,” Thelma said, sparking laughs.
“You are crazy. I’m a Christian,” Imisi stated.
Imisi is a member of the Celestial Church of Christ.
She posted photos of herself in white garments on social media.
Koyin, the Big Brother Naija housemate, has revealed that a wealthy woman once offered him money to cover her own bride price.
He disclosed this during a conversation with Big Soso when she approached him after the Saturday night Turnup to clarify his relationship with Dede.
Koyin explained to Soso that his relationship with Dede is purely platonic, stressing that getting women isn’t difficult for him.
He boasted that he is a “hot boy” and can get any woman he wants including celebrities.
“Me and Dede, we are just friends, I don’t have any interest in her, I have told her. We are just enjoying each other’s company.
“If I want her, I went get her. I’m also a hot boy. I know how many women are dying for me outside including celebrities.
“I had a lady that was very rich, she has a Tesla cybertruck. She told me not to worry about money to pay her bride price,” the 22-year-old model said.
Emotions ran high in the Big Brother Naija house this week as housemate Rooboy appeared visibly weighed down, sparking concern among both fellow contestants and viewers.
Rooboy, known for his usually calm and reserved nature, had been noticeably quiet and withdrawn, leading fans to speculate about his state of mind.
Sensing his low spirits, Big Soso stepped in for a private conversation that quickly became one of the most talked-about moments in the house. With a firm yet reassuring tone, Soso told him, “You’re going nowhere.”
The exchange not only strengthened Rooboy’s determination but also earned Soso praise from fellow housemates, who applauded her.
Otega, the former BBNaija season 10 housemate, has addressed widespread speculation that his role as a cook in the house was a calculated game strategy.
The 32-year-old, who was evicted last Sunday alongside Kayinkunmi, clarified his intentions in a recent interview.
When questioned if he took on cooking duties to win favor with fellow housemates and viewers, Otega was unequivocal in his denial.
He stated that his true strategy was far simpler and more authentic: to be himself.
Otega emphasised that his behaviour in the house was a genuine reflection of his personality, shaped by life experience and a thoughtful nature.
“It was never my strategy. My strategy was never to go there and cook for anybody, it was why I was not cooking every day. My strategy was to go there and be myself,” he said.
“Myself was what you saw. I am a very blunt person. I also try as much as possible to be wise because with age and life experiences comes wisdom.
“So I was not there to go and cook. I am a chef by profession, so I do not need to cook to get approval.”
Otega also spoke about the dynamics of this year’s show, while hailing the organisers decision to have 29 housemates.
“I think it is giving a good run, the producers know what they are doing and they are doing a great job. We can see from the response we are receiving outside. It has been an amazing experience, so yes pushing the limit is the goal of the show,” he said.
Big Brother Naija Season 10 has delivered another major twist as housemate Zita emerged as the new Head of House (HOH), just 24 hours after Doris was crowned.
Following her victory, Biggie made the official announcement:
“Housemates, your new Head of House is Zita. Kindly select your house guest.”
As HOH, Zita now enjoys immunity from nominations, exclusive access to the HOH lounge, and the authority to shape house dynamics for the week. She also has the deputy privilege, giving her added influence over strategies and alliances in the House.
The twist, which saw Doris dethroned barely a day into her reign, is one of the unpredictable game-changers Big Brother has promised this season, keeping fans and housemates on edge.
Two more housemates have exited Big Brother Naija Season 10, as Oghenetega “Otega” Eritomi and Oluwakayikunmi “Kayikunmi” Ajibade became the third and fourth contestants to be evicted from the reality show.
Their eviction was announced during Sunday’s live show, hosted by media personality Ebuka Obi-Uchendu.
The eviction votes were tight. Ifeyinwa “Ivatar” Okafor secured 1.36%, edging out Kayikunmi with 1.26% and Otega with 1.22%.
The vote count and ranking of housemates were independently computed by Deloitte and confirmed against the results determined by M-Net.
In another highlight of the week, Jason Jae was officially voted the Most Influential Player of the Week by his fellow housemates.
Otega and Kayikunmi’s departure follows the earlier exits of Ibifubara and Danboskid, while Sabrina withdrew last week due to medical reasons.
With their eviction, the race for the ₦150 million grand prize has tightened, reducing the line-up from 29 contestants at launch to 24.
Otega, a 32-year-old chef, photographer, and developer from Delta State, joined the show to challenge himself in a new environment and connect with people through creativity and authenticity. Reflecting on his life, he had described his career switch from tech to food as his proudest moment.
Kayikunmi, a 25-year-old banker from Ekiti State, came into the house with a bold declaration that he was in it for the money, fame, and entertainment. Known for his loud personality, he described himself as someone who loves love but struggles to find the right partner.
The banker’s energy and his much-talked-about fling with Isabella weren’t enough to secure his stay in the game.
During the live eviction, Ebuka urged the remaining housemates to stay focused on their journey and reminded them that the stakes are only getting higher.
Season 10, which premiered in late July with one of the largest casts in the show’s history, has already seen its fair share of drama.
This past week (week 3), Biggie’s disciplinary hand was felt strongly: Kuture received a final warning, Sultana was barred from alcohol for a week, and Bright Morgan bagged a double strike for repeated infractions.
With 24 housemates now left in the running, the coming week looms large for fresh twists and new alliances.

She made the revelation while countering Victory’s claim that he has never asked any lady out on the show, in front of the other housemates on Saturday afternoon.
Sultana explained that Victory also stated that he wished to marry her.
“You came at me [asked me out], then you’re saying that you’ve never told anyone you love them. You didn’t just tell me you love me, you told me that you want to marry me,” she said.
Victory did not deny Sultana’s claims.
Sultana has previously told her friend, Gigi Jasmine, who has a crush on Victory, that nothing romantic would happen between her and him.
