The new Wizkid age has begun, and because I don’t know how to act at the moment, you’ll have to call me Gal Gadot. Nearly two years after releasing Made in Lagos, his best album to date, Wizkid is getting ready to release More Love Less Ego (#MLLE), and the streets are going crazy.
Here is all the hot tea I’ve been able to gather from those who attended the Grammy Award winner’s recent performance in London where he previewed songs from the album (Ayodeji, Lizzie’s body is not even cold yet).
There is an Ayra Starr feature that will chokehold everyone.
When Ayra Starr said, “E dey rush,” she wasn’t playing because, omo, her cup had transformed into a swimming pool. Ayra is reportedly on a hot track off of #MLLE, according to information reaching us from the late Queen Lizzie’s compound only hours after she released the remix to Bloody Samaritan with THEE Kelly Rowland.
Do you recall how Tems became a worldwide sensation thanks to Essence? Ayra Starr appears to be in her emi lo kan era.
This record probably will make you conceive.
Why do artists seem to want to make everyone pregnant? We first heard CKay’s Sad Romance, and now we’re hearing that #MLLE is jam-packed with music that makes babies. Cerelac is pricey, my dears. Be careful how you act this winter.
Beware of the song “Balance.” I understand why.
People who were fortunate enough to watch Wizkid perform have been raving about a song called Balance. Balance might become a hit before it even leaves Wizkid’s memory card, which is unusual for a track to do. Things are currently going well for Balance.
Wizkid’s song featuring Naira Marley? O por
Rise up, Martian people, and stop wasting your master’s labor. I don’t know why this collaboration didn’t happen earlier, but Wizkid’s #MLLE is scheduled to feature the one and only Naira Marley. I already have this song at the top of my Detty December playlist, so you better believe it.
Rumor has it that the album will be released on October 29, 2022.
On the album, Travis Scott is featured.
It is hardly surprising that Travis Scott is on #MLLE considering Wizkid’s reputation for significant worldwide features. It’s likely the first of many international partnerships on the project, in my opinion.
