Dangote Group wants to explore its industrial business into Egypt.
The idea came up after a high level Egyptian delegation, led by Investment and Foreign Trade Minister Dr Mohamed Saleh, visited the Dangote Industries complex in Lagos.
The team included officials from Egypt’s Ministry of Petroleum and senior executives from its oil and petrochemical sector.
They talked with Dangote executives about possible partnerships and ways to grow production in key industries.
He said African businesses should invest across the continent to speed up industrial growth.
He added that the visit was a chance to show what the group has built and to look for areas where both countries can work together.
Saleh said Egypt is interested in Dangote’s work in refining, petrochemicals and fertiliser.
He said the aim is to turn the talks into real investments that create jobs and growth in both countries.
