Pastors Now Behave Like Content Creators – Comedian Funnybone Slams Clergymen Who Like Calling Themselves Out Online

Comedian Funnybone, whose real name is Chibunna Stanley, has condemned new-generation clergymen for frequently calling out their peers on social media.

In a post shared on Instagram today, Funnybone said their actions is both shameful and exhausting to watch.

He wondered why clergymen cannot pick their phones and call to address any issue they may have with their colleagues.

He added that if they are not ashamed, they should know that other Christians are ashamed on their behalf.

He wrote; ‘’Dear new generation preachers,

This recent trend of dragging one another on social media is tasteless and deeply embarrassing to the Body of Christ. Everyone is wielding the Bible to justify personal excesses and unnecessary drama. It is both shameful and exhausting to watch.

If your founding fathers had been this dramatic, you probably wouldn’t have had a congregation to pastor today.

What happened to picking up the phone, calling that pastor privately, and resolving issues as spiritual men? Must everything become a public spectacle? Can this just stop?

If you are not embarrassed, please know that we are embarrassed on your behalf.

Pastors behaving like content creators online… sigh”

You Are Ingrates – Olasco Films Blasts Okunnu, Austin Emmanuel For Calling Him Out (Video)

Veteran movie marketer Akeem Olatunji Balogun, widely known as Olasco Films, has labeled actors Okunnu and Austin Emmanuel as ungrateful.

He stated this while reacting to allegations against him by the actors during their recent interview.

Recall that Okunnu had some days ago called out Olasco Films over a movie he produced for him 16 years ago.

Okunnu who accused Olasco of pocketing all the money made from the movie, said, “I haven’t forgiven Olasco.”

This came a few months after actor Austin Emmanuel accused Olasco Films and his close associate, Toymax Films, of blacklisting him in the industry.

Austin who has been away from the screen for years, also accused Toymax of sleeping with his girlfriend named Aisha Raji.

However, reacting to the allegations, Olasco in an Interview with actor Tunde Ola-Yusuf, called Okunnu and Austin Emmanuel ingrates.

While explaining that he gave Okunnu N2 million to produce the movie for him, he narrated his contribution to Austin Emmanuel’s career.

“Okunnu is like a blind man using a walking stick, and when he regained his sight, he threw away the walking stick that was guiding him when he was blind. That’s who he is for him to say he worked for me without pay. Okunnu collected N2 million from me to produce the movie for me 16 years ago. As at that time, production only cost between N700,000 to N1 million.

“Austin Emmanuel wants to trend with my name. I assisted him to advertise the very movie that made him famous in my films, so he’s an ingrate,” he said.

All R@pists Should Be Castrated And Burnt Alive – Nigerian Singer, Simi Blows Hot

Afrobeats singer Simi, born Simisola Kosoko, has stirred controversy after advocating capital punishment for r@pists.

Nigeria is currently in a s*xual assault crisis with multiple r@pe allegations being reported in different parts of the country in recent weeks.

Reacting on Tuesday night, Simi passionately appealed to citizens and the authorities to put an end to s*xual ass@ult against women.

“I’m sickkk of this. Stop r@ping women. They need to castrate r@pists and burn them,” she wrote in a fierce X post.

However, her suggestion of a capital punishment for r@pists sparked a debate, with many arguing that the same should be given to false r@pe accusers.

Simi maintained that she was advocating for r@pe victims and not victims of false r@pe accusations, which further escalated ther controversy.

Shunning the outrage from her male fans, the singer explained that she was advocating for r@pe victims because almost all the women she knew have been “s*xually assaulted at some points of their lives.”

She argued that it isn’t right to stop people from speaking against s*xual assault just because of false r@pe accusers.

“How many of your friends have actually assaulted women as vibes?? Women are terrified to go out. Women in their homes are not safe either. Ask your sisters. Ask your female friends and your girlfriends. Ask your wives. We’re not all crazy. Stop r@ping women,” she added.

Simi also urged men to hold their fellow men accountable, claiming that men creating the enabling environment for r@pists due to their failure to hold other accountable.

WAEC releases 2025 second series CB‑WASSCE results for private candidates

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has officially released the results of the 2025 Second Series Computer‑Based West African Senior School Certificate Examination (CB‑WASSCE) for private candidates.

The announcement was made on Monday by Moyosola Adesina, Acting Head of the Public Affairs Unit at the WAEC National Office in Lagos.

A total of 69,604 candidates registered for the examination, marking a 1.8% increase compared to the 2024 figure of 68,342. Out of these, 65,752 candidates sat for the exams at 370 centres nationwide.

Of those who wrote the exams, 51.69% (33,989 candidates) obtained credit and above in at least five subjects, with or without English and Mathematics, while 42.17% (27,727 candidates) secured credits in five subjects including English and Mathematics — a key benchmark for many university admissions and job requirements.

Among these successful candidates, 13,416 were male (48.39%) and 14,311 were female (51.61%).

The 2025 Second Series CB‑WASSCE also saw participation by candidates with special needs, including those with visual and hearing impairments and albinism, with accommodations provided throughout the examination process to ensure inclusivity.

However, WAEC stated that 1,899 candidates (2.89%) had their results withheld due to reported cases of examination malpractice.

Investigations are ongoing, and decisions will be communicated directly to the affected candidates.

Candidates can check their results via the WAEC Direct Portal at www.waecdirect.org. After checking their scores, candidates can also access digital copies of their certificates on the WAEC website at www.waec.org.

Those who prefer hard copy certificates can apply online through the WAEC Certificate Request Portal (e‑Certman) at certrequest.waec.ng.

This release gives private candidates the opportunity to see how they performed in the 2025 Second Series CB‑WASSCE.

While many students achieved solid results, challenges remain, especially as WAEC continues to work on improving examination integrity and performance tracking across Nigeria.
