EPL: Liverpool hammer West Ham 5-2 to climb table

Liverpool moved into fifth place in the Premier League after a 5-2 victory over West Ham United Anfield, drawing level on points with fourth-placed Manchester United.

Three first-half set-piece goals put the hosts in control before West Ham mounted a brief response after the interval.

Set-piece precision

Liverpool struck early when Hugo Ekitike finished smartly from close range after a pass from Ryan Gravenberch in the fifth minute.

The advantage doubled against the run of play as Virgil van Dijk headed home a corner delivered by Dominik Szoboszlai.

Just before the break, Alexis Mac Allister’s volley took a deflection and found the net to make it 3-0. All three goals came from set-plays.

West Ham had opportunities through Konstantinos Mavropanos, Jarrod Bowen and Tomas Soucek but failed to convert.

Visitors rally briefly

Soucek reduced the deficit early in the second half, finishing from a cross by El Hadji Malick Diouf.

However, Cody Gakpo restored Liverpool’s three-goal cushion in the 70th minute with a deflected strike.

Taty Castellanos gave West Ham renewed hope with a second goal, but a cross from Jeremie Frimpong was turned into his own net by Axel Disasi to complete the scoring.

Liverpool’s first five-goal league haul of the campaign lifts them above Chelsea, who face leaders Arsenal on Sunday.

West Ham remain 18th, two points behind Nottingham Forest, as the relegation battle intensifies.

Nollywood Actress, Iyabo Ojo Reacts To Reports That She Gave Kayamata To Fola Tinubu

Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has dismissed as completely false the allegation that she gave her goddaughter, Fola Tinubu, Kayamata, describing the claim as “a lie from the pit of hell.”

Kayamata, a known herbal product, is used to enhance female s*xuality, increase s*xual satisfaction, and strengthen marital bonds. It is also often used by married women to increase attraction.

Iyabo Ojo’s allegation dismissal comes after an Instagram blog, Gistlover, alleged that the movie star gave Fola Kayamata to attract men.

However, in an Instagram post on Friday, Iyabo clarified that Fola is an adult, noting that she does not monitor her or question her about her intimate relationship.

The thespian also noted that she does not use or patronise Kayamata, adding that she had helped Fola with her business and legal battles.

She wrote, “First and foremost, Fola Tinubu is an adult. I’m not one to monitor or ask questions about anyone’s life. Gistlover saying I gave Fola any form of Kayamata is a lie from the pit of hell. I have never once asked or discussed anything pertaining to her relationship with her.

“I don’t know who she is dating, and I never asked her; nothing concerns me, nor have I ever given her anything for s*xual or relationship purposes. I myself don’t use Kayamata, so how will I give what I don’t have? I don’t patronise such.

“Fola is not my friend; she was a lady I helped who later became a goddaughter. I don’t discuss intimate matters with goddaughters; I’m a very strict and busy person. I helped her in so many ways with her business and legal battles. Now, to the glory of God, she is doing well for herself; that was my goal with her, nothing more, nothing less.

“If what you have rewritten is true about me, may God destroy me and all that I stand for. But if it’s all lies about me, may God punish whoever is sending you those lies.”

My favourite Betting Site in Nigeria and Why?

With so many betting sites out there, it can be difficult to choose the right one in Nigeria.

I’ve spent time looking at different platforms, checking out what they offer and how user-friendly they are, and if you can trust them. I keep coming back to the Secretbet website because it’s got a ton of options, it’s simple to use, and honestly, it makes betting an enjoyable thing to do.

I like that Secretbet has betting options for a lot of different sports. Here in Nigeria, everyone I’ve been browsing a bunch of sites, seeing what’s out there, and trying to figure out which ones are easy to use and seem like you can trust them. But Secretbet stands out as the best. It offers many alternatives, it’s straightforward, and it actually makes betting fun.

I like the different option that Secretbet has because they offer betting options for many different sports. Soccer is really popular in Nigeria, and Secretbet allows you to place bets on all the major leagues and matches from around the world.

No matter if it’s local games, European matches, or big international events, there’s always something to bet on. They also offer basketball, tennis, MMA, and other sports. So, you don’t have to rely on just one option.

Another nice thing about Secretbet is that they provide both casino games and sports betting options. You can use a single account to do all the things instead of signing up on multiple websites. Their casino offers many different games, like slot machines, live casino games, and crash games, which are pretty popular among players in Nigeria. If you’re looking to try something new, mixing sports and casino games is a good idea.

The site is also simple to use. It’s simple to understand, whether you’re using a computer or a phone. Signing up is straightforward, and it’s simple to move between different casino games and sports bets. Placing bets is quick, and it’s simple to locate the games or events you’re interested in. They also allow you to pay using local payment methods and accept naira, which is helpful because you don’t need to worry about exchanging currency.

Security matters when picking a betting site. Secretbet seems to have a secure system and takes things seriously, which helps keep your information and money safe. Just use their real website and bet in a responsible way.

Secretbet is my preference because it possesses everything I seek in one place. They have several sports to bet on and nice casino games; it’s simple to use and works well for people in Nigeria. Always play carefully and know the rules of the site you’re using before you start betting. Secretbet is exactly what I’m looking for in a betting site.

There Was A Time I Used To Wonder How I Would Thrive Financially Without ‘Otunba’ – Actress Tonto Dikeh Opens Up

Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has shared how her financial situation dramatically improved after she embraced Christianity.

Speaking via a post on Instagram, she attributed her financial progress to divine provision, adding that her experience has been different.

Dikeh challenged the notion that devotion to God leads to financial hardship and disclosed that she now owns 4 houses.

The mother of one stated that she used to wonder how she would survive without ‘Otunba’, but God surprised her.

She urged believers to trust God regarding their financial needs, stressing that faith encompasses every aspect of life.

Dikeh said, “I am sharing this to encourage believers all over the world. There’s a common narrative that once you give your life to Christ, you should expect financial struggle, that devotion to God somehow means settling for less. My experience has been the complete opposite.

“Since surrendering my life to Jehovah and making Him my Lord and Personal Saviour, I have witnessed a dimension of provision and increase that I had never known before. My faith did not diminish my life; it elevated it. I have experienced undeniable financial growth, supernatural help, and timely provision. There has never been a genuine need that God did not answer. Many times, He sent strangers as destiny helpers.

“Listen, I have seen money, but what God is doing now is mega money.

“God is sweet. I once wrote here: “I have so much faith in God that if man cannot be my blessing, God will send angels from heaven for my sake.” I still stand by that declaration.

“There is a dimension of living called the Zoe life, the God-kind of life. When you are completely sold out to God, obedient, and aligned with His will, there is nothing you cannot achieve within His purpose for you. In less than a year, El-Roi, the God who sees me, has blessed me with 4 houses. This is only the beginning. In 2026, this will be the least I will ever be.

“To every Christian reading this: let this strengthen your conviction. God sees you. God is interested in every area of your life, including your financial growth. This has nothing to do with celebrity status. It has everything to do with being a woman who has dedicated her life on earth to serving God wholeheartedly.

“He will not fail you. He will not allow the world to mock your obedience. The One who called you has ordained you to win. Do not lose faith. Do not be discouraged.

“Everything you seek is in God. There was a time I wondered how I would thrive financially without the help of “OTUNBA”. Today, by God’s grace, He has established me in my own right. The same God who lifted me can lift you. Let this minister to your soul: God can indeed be trusted.”

Israel And US Launch Attack On Iran

Al Jazeera reports that a US official informed it that the attacks were carried out as a joint military operation between Israel and the United States.

Other Iranian media outlets said strikes were also recorded in parts of the country, including Ilam province in the west.

US President Donald Trump confirmed that the operation was aimed at “eliminating imminent threats from the Iranian regime.”

“Short time ago, US military began major combat operation in Iran.

“Our objective is to defend the American people by eliminating threats from the Iranian regime,” Trump said.

Why Is Lagos Govt Paying ₦100 Million If Nobody D!ed At Lekki Tollgate.? – Dele Farotimi Blasts Lai Mohammed (Video)

Human rights lawyer Dele Farotimi has described former Minister of Information Lai Mohammed as a reprobate and shameless liar over his account of the tragic shooting at the Lekki Toll Gate.

Mohammed recently claimed that nobody was k!lled during the shooting at the Lekki tollgate in 2020.

However, in an interview on the ‘State Affairs’ podcast with Edmund Obilo, Farotimi insisted that Mohammed lied about his account of the event at the Lekki tollgate.

The activist lawyer further said the Lagos State government paid ₦100 million to injured survivors and relatives of the de@d.

According to Dele Farotimi, the Lagos government also paid for the burial of over 100 unidentified people, questioning Lia Mohammed over the payment if nobody d!ed.

He said, “Yes there was massacre at Lekki tollgate but I was not part of the organization of the EndSARS but I became involved after the massacre.

“I belong to a political collective in the NBA known as the Radical Agenda Movement in the Nigerian Bar Association.

“When the panel was set up, our late Chairman and us took a decision to boycott that panel and some of our cadres had placard in front of the panel demanding that the panel should not sit.

“It was while they were there that some of the survivors approached him and that was how our collectives became involved in EndSARS.

“Because of that involvement, I was the one who personally provide safe houses, paid doctors bills, in some cases paid funeral expenses, and I’m saying this that the Lagos State government paid N100 million in cash of two installments of N50 million each to injured survivors and relatives of the de@d. They made it cash because they didn’t want any record of transaction.

“The persons who collected those money are still alive and well, why are they paying if nobody d!ed? Lai Mohammed is a liar, a reprobate, shameless liar, that is what he is. He has always been bold at telling reprobate lies.

“A panel of inquiry sat and reached a unanimous decision, there was no descending voice and a retired AIG was sat on that panel and they unanimously agreed that there was a massacre.

“The Lagos State government paid for the burial of over 100 people and they claimed were unidentified, they even profited off the de@th of these persons. Lai Mohammed is a shameless liar.”

How I Was S*xually Abused At Age 6 – Popular Skitmaker, Oluwadolarz Opens Up

Popular skit maker Oluwadolarz has opened up about a traumatic experience from his childhood, revealing that he was abused at the age of six by a female neighbour.

He spoke about the experience in a video posted on Instagram, where he explained how the incident has continued to affect him many years later.

According to him, he was living with his grandmother at the time because his mother was in nursing school.

He said his grandmother was the one raising him then, recalling that whenever he returned from school, the neighbour was usually at home.

The skitmaker said she would take him to the backyard of their house and engage in acts that a child of his age should never be exposed to.

He stated that the situation continued for about one year and left memories he has not been able to forget.

The content creator said the experience affected many parts of his life as he grew older.

He explained that it created problems with trust and relationships and also affected his private life in ways he still struggles to talk about openly.

He added that the emotional and mental impact has been hard to deal with.

Oluwadolarz said he decided to speak publicly because he has come to realize that many male children also face abuse but often remain silent.

He noted that some people do not believe boys can be victims, which makes it harder for them to speak up.

The musician called on parents and guardians to pay closer attention to their children and create an environment where they feel safe enough to report any troubling experience.

According to him, adults should be more careful about who has access to their children and to listen when a child tries to share something uncomfortable.

He said: “And to start with, first of all, Aunty it shall not be well with you. When I was 6, yes, I was 6, 5, 6 years old. Then I was living with my grandma, my mum was still in a nursing school then, so I was living with my grandma, so my grandma was like raising me and all that.

“So whenever I come back from school, she is always at home. She’s the only one at home; she’s always there. And whenever I come back from school, she would take me to the backyard of our house and do all sorts. From leaking to, it’s crazy, it happened for a year straight.

“Please parents, watch your kids. That’s the essence of this video because I’m beginning to realise that it happens to a lot of male children. I’m saying it now because I’m beginning to realise it could have messed up my life. I think it actually did mess up my life.

“Because it messed up my s£x life, messed up a lot of things about me that I can’t even say here. The damage that stuff causes or brings to one’s life is unforgettable. It’s almost unsolvable. But as for you, aunty, it won’t be better for you.”

Nigerian Football Star, Asisat Oshoala Reveals Most Memorable Phase With Super Falcons

Al Hilal Women forward Asisat Oshoala has described the 2023 Women’s World Cup as the most memorable tournament of her career with the Super Falcons.

In an interview with Ghanasoccernet, Oshoala said she approaches every tournament with the same hunger and commitment, whether on the African stage or at the global showpiece.

“Every tournament is special to me because I give my all in every competition. Whether it is WAFCON or the World Cup, I approach each game with the same passion and energy because I genuinely love football,” Asisat Oshoala said.

Still, one tournament sits above the rest.

“The 2023 World Cup in Australia stands out the most for me. Our match against Australia was particularly special, as well as the game against England,” Oshoala said.

The Super Falcons went into the 2023 tournament ranked 40th in the world by FIFA. They held Olympic champions Canada, stunned co-hosts Australia and pushed eventual finalists England to extra time and penalties before bowing out in the round of 16.

Oshoala believes those outings highlighted the team’s steady rise on the global stage.

“Those performances showed how much the Nigerian team is evolving and improving with every competition. At WAFCON in Morocco, we experienced intense moments, especially when we were two goals down. Fighting back together and supporting one another made the victory even sweeter,” she concluded.

The striker, however, was not included in the latest Super Falcons squad announced by head coach Justine Madugu for the upcoming pre-WAFCON friendly matches against Cameroon in Yaounde.

The first friendly takes place on Saturday at the Military Stadium in Yaounde, with the return fixture scheduled for Tuesday, March 3.

My Biggest Fibroid Is The Size Of An Orange — Famous Actress, Lupita Nyong’o Opens Up About Health Battle

Actress Lupita Nyong’o has disclosed that she is currently living with more than 50 uterine fibroids.

Speaking during a recent appearance on the Today show, the Oscar winner said her condition has worsened since she was first diagnosed in 2014 — the same year she won an Academy Award for 12 Years a Slave.

At the time, she underwent surgery to remove 23 fibroids.

“The first time I got the fibroids taken out, they took out 23,” she said. “And this time, I’ve been informed two years ago that I have over 50.”

Nyong’o explained that she is now facing the same difficult options again — surgery or living with the pain.

“I’m being faced with the same options — surgery or live with the pain,” she said, adding that procedures like myomectomy are invasive and come with reproductive risks.

She admitted she is not ready to make that decision yet.

Describing the severity of her condition, she revealed that her largest fibroid is the size of an orange.

Uterine fibroids are noncancerous growths that can cause heavy periods, pelvic pain and other complications. The condition is said to disproportionately affect Black women, often with more severe symptoms.

Nyong’o also spoke about the emotional toll the diagnosis initially took on her.

“I felt shame. What did I do to cause them? And I felt very alone and quite scared for my reproductive health,” she said.

Over time, she said she found strength in connecting with other women facing similar challenges.

Now, she is using her voice to advocate for more awareness and better treatment options.

“I think it’s high time we speak up to ensure that this is no longer trivialized,” she said.
