Nollywood actress, Adunni Ade has announced the death of her mother, sharing an emotional tribute that has touched fans and colleagues across social media.
The actress disclosed that her mother died on October 18, 2026, following a prolonged battle with illness. She shared the heartbreaking news in an Instagram post, expressing grief while accepting what she described as the will of Almighty Allah.
Adunni Ade said her late mother left behind children, grandchildren, sisters and other loved ones who would continue to cherish her memory.
Actress offers prayers for late mother
In her tribute, Adunni Ade prayed for Allah’s forgiveness and mercy for her mother, asking that her grave be filled with light and that she be granted Al-Jannah Firdaus.
The actress wrote, “With a heavy heart and submission to the will of Almighty Allah, I announce the passing of my beloved mother, who returned to her Creator after a long battle with illness.”
She also expressed her love for her late mother and prayed for a reunion with her in paradise.
Adunni Ade added, “Mum, I love you. May Allah grant you eternal peace and reunite us in Jannah. Ameen.”
The actress further disclosed that details of the funeral arrangements would be communicated in due course.
