A Nigerian lady has sparked conversations online after revealing how a man she met last week sends her money daily despite her making it clear that she is not interested in a relationship with him.
The lady explained that the man believes money can win over any woman and allegedly used her WhatsApp number to identify her OPay account before beginning to transfer money to her.
According to her, he sends her ₦15,000 daily, but increased the amount to ₦20,000 on a day she refused to answer his calls, hoping the transfer would persuade her to pick up.
She added that the man affectionately calls her “mma” whenever he wants her attention.
Lady reveals how much she has saved
The lady said the repeated transfers had already helped her accumulate ₦100,000 within a few days.
Rather than return the money or respond to his advances, she disclosed that she intended to continue saving as long as the man kept sending it.
“I’ve saved ₦100k in a few days. Let me keep saving until he gets tired,” she said.
The lady also suggested that the man had refused to accept her lack of interest, despite her position on the matter.
Lady says she likes men who pursue her
Sharing her thoughts on persistent suitors, the lady said some men struggle to accept rejection.
“Some men doesn’t hear ‘I’m not interested’,” she wrote, before adding, “I like simp men, abeg”.
Her account raises questions about money, romantic intentions and boundaries in modern dating, particularly when financial gifts are used to seek someone’s attention.
