Wizkid Balogun, an internationally renowned Afrobeat singer, explains why he will continue to focus on his current musical style rather than switching to gospel in the future.
This was revealed by the Grammy Award-winning musician on Thursday night during an interview on a global radio station.
The singer responded to a few questions throughout the interview, including the one asking him to choose between Tems and Burna Boy as his favorite artist.
The 32-year-old said near the end of the interview that every album he releases will be “vibes on vibes.” He said, “You are going to lay it in the club if I record a Christian album today.”
Remember that the singer delayed the release of his album, “More Love; Less Ego,” which will now air today, in response to the passing of Davido’s son, Ifeanyi.
