Why Nigerians May Be Banned From All Countries – Shehu Sani

Former Kaduna Central Senator Shehu Sani has warned that unless urgent action is taken, Nigerians could face bans from the rest of the world in the near future.

Sani issued this warning in a post via his official X handle on Saturday, in response to the deportation of Nigerians by the Canadian government.

626Blaze reports that Canada deported no fewer than 366 Nigerians between January and October 2025, as the country stepped up immigration enforcement at its fastest pace in more than a decade.

Reacting, the former lawmaker said: “Canada has been a second home to thousands of Nigerians who live, study, or work there. It’s the most liberal country when it comes to immigration and accommodating Nigerians.

“The recent deportations of Nigerians from Canada are a wake-up call. Our unscrupulous citizens, involved in crime and abusing the benevolence and generosity of the Canadian people, are not helpful to our country’s image.

“We either tackle the few among us, or we may wake up one day banned by the rest of the world.”

US Airstrike: Too Early To Claim Victory Over Terrorists – Shehu Sani To Nigerian Security Agents

Former Kaduna Central Senator Shehu Sani has cautioned that it is too early for Nigerian security agencies to declare victory over terrorists.

Sani commended the efforts of security agents to tackle terrorists entrenched in places other than Sokoto State.

Posting on X, he wrote: “The efforts of our Nigerian Defense, security and intelligence services ensured a relatively safe and peaceful Yuletide season in most parts of our country, and not the one off US strike as boasted by US Rep Riley.

“It’s too early to claim victory over the terrorists that are more entrenched in places other than Sokoto.”

This comes when the United States, US, launched airstrikes in Sokoto State of Nigeria.

The airstrikes were meant to hit terrorists like ISIS and Lakurawa Islamic groups on Christmas day as approved by US President Donald Trump and his Nigerian counterpart, Bola Tinubu.

However, there have been claims that the airstrikes missed its target, with the missiles landing on empty fields.

Stay Back And Build Your Country – Shehu Sani Reacts Following US New Visa Ban

Former lawmaker and ex-representative of the Kaduna Central Senatorial District, Shehu Sani, has called on African leaders to stay at home and focus on rebuilding their countries.

Sani made the call on Wednesday in a post on his verified X handle, following the recent visa ban imposed by the United States Government on some African countries.

Earlier, 626Blaze reported that United States President Donald Trump signed a new proclamation further restricting the entry of foreign nationals into the country, adding 15 more nations to the list facing partial travel limitations.

Reacting, the former lawmaker said, “They said the first visa ban focused on those who engage in acts of religious persecution, and many jubilated on social media. The second visa restriction is for everyone and Nigeria is listed among 23 others.

“The recent list has no Arab countries but mostly Black Africans and Caribbeans even though safety and security was used as the basis.

“The message is very clear. Third World migrants are not welcomed. Stay back and build your country or deal with your problems.”

Regina Daniels vs Ned Nwoko: There Is No Perfect Husband Or Wife – Shehu Sani Says

Former Kaduna Central Senator Shehu Sani has stated that no husband or wife is perfect, emphasizing that couples grow by learning to manage each other’s imperfections.

Sani said marriages and relationships are periodically tested by those imperfections.

His remark comes amid the alleged marital crisis between Delta North Senator, Ned Nwoko and popular actress, Regina Daniels.

Regina Daniels alleged she was subjected to domestic violence, noting that she can no longer take it.

However, Sani posted on X: “There is no perfect husband. There is no perfect wife. There is no perfect couple. There is no perfect family.

“Those who learn or master the art of handling their imperfections stay longer on the matrimonial track.

“Marriage or relationships are periodically tested by those imperfections and rescued by restraint.

“Every beauty has its ugly side; we spend most of our time embracing the beautiful side, and when it rotates to the ugly side, we lose our balance, we fail to accept the fact that it’s in the package of the other soul we subscribed to.

“We think of the person we love as Angels and Saints until the wheel of time reminds us and open our eyes to those imperfections of the one we love.”

Democracy Is Now Gradually Becoming Dictatorship – Shehu Sani Blows Hot

Shehu Sani, a former Kaduna Central lawmaker, has lamented that advanced democracy is gradually becoming dictatorship.

The ex-senator, who accused the system of intimidating and silencing members of the legislature, decried that freedom was in reverse gear, adding that the world may be tired of democracy.

“Everything happening in dictatorships is now gradually happening in the most advanced democracy; punishing universities for permitting protests, disobeying and disrespecting judges as well as witch-hunting political opponents and arraigning them in court on concocted charges.

Shehu Sani Reacts To Appointment Of 25-year-Old As FERMA Chairman

Former Kaduna lawmaker, Sen Shehu Sani, has applauded the appointment of Imam Ibrahim Kashim-Imam, as the Chairman of the Federal Roads Maintenance Agency (FERMA).

In a statement issued last week Friday evening, presidential spokesman, Ajuri Ngelale, said the appointee is expected to serve for a renewable term of four (4) years, in accordance with Section 2(3) of the FERMA Amendment Act, 2007.

Reacting in a post via his X (formerly Twitter) handle on Monday, Sani said there is nothing wrong with the President appointing the 25-year-old to head the federal agency.

The former Kaduna Central Senator said the state of Federal roads in the country shows that those old people appointed over the years have not merited the position they held.

Sani, therefore, counselled that the youths, and young people should learn to rally around the new FERMA chairman.

He said: “There is nothing wrong with appointing a 25-year-old to head FERMA. Just look at the state of Federal roads in the country and ask yourself if those old people appointed over the years merited the position they held. Young people should learn to rally around their own.”
