As Christians around the world mark the Christmas celebration today, Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has taken a moment to reflect on motherhood and her children.

The actress and mother of two shared a series of throwback Christmas photos on her Instagram page, featuring herself and her children dressed in matching green pyjamas.

Though she acknowledged that the pictures were taken some time ago, Regina described them as timeless and deeply meaningful to her.

In an emotional caption, she noted that despite her active social life and public image, her children remain permanently close to her heart.

She wrote: “Old? Maybe. Golden? Always in my heart. Merry Christmas everyone. Love, Mama MK.”

Her post comes amid an ongoing and highly publicized family dispute. About a week ago, Regina had publicly called out her husband, politician Ned Nwoko, accusing him of deliberately cutting her off from her children. She claimed she had not spoken to them since mid-November, alleging that he dismissed all her nannies, pressured them into making false statements, and filed for full custody of the children, despite already having them in his care.

In a follow-up post at the time, Regina shared screenshots of a conversation with one of her children’s nannies, who reportedly told her she had resigned because Nwoko was allegedly taking out frustrations from marital issues on the staff. Regina expressed sadness over being unable to care for her child, Moon, following these developments.

Responding to the allegations, Ned Nwoko dismissed Regina’s claims, describing them as misleading and inconsistent with their family’s long-standing practices. He stated that sharing photos and videos of their children had always been normal within the family and pointed out that Regina herself had publicly posted the children for years without raising privacy concerns. According to him, her absence from the children’s lives was a personal decision rather than a restriction imposed on her.

A court has ordered Nollywood actress Regina Daniels to undergo drug rehabilitation and be evaluated by the Abuja Social Welfare Department before she can be granted access to her children with Senator Ned Nwoko.

Earlier, 626Blaze reported that Regina Daniels recently vowed to fight for the custody of her two sons, Munir and Khalifa.

According to the thespian, her estranged husband, Ned Nwoko, has filed for full custody of her boys, despite the children being in his care.

Speaking via Instagram, she lamented that the repeated public exposure of her children is a deliberate attempt by her husband to garner attention.

The thespian alleged that Nwoko has dismissed all her nannies and forced them to make false statements that she is violent and an alcoholic.

In response, Nwoko, in a statement issued on Tuesday via his Instagram page, denied claims that he prevented Regina from seeing their kids.

The lawmaker pointed out that a court has ruled and given conditions for her to have access to their children.

Speaking on Regina’s displeasure about posting photos and videos of their kids on social media, Ned Nwoko argued that the movie star has, in the past, also posted videos and pictures of their kids on social media, wondering why she is against it now.

Senator Ned Nwoko, the Nigerian lawmaker representing Delta North at the National Assembly, has refuted the claims that he is seeking to reconcile with his estranged wife cum Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels.

This comes after Regina claimed that Nwoko was sending his family to plead for reconciliation while continuously calling her out online.

Regina Daniels’ claim was also corroborated by a post made by her colleague, Doris Ogala, on her Instagram page.

However, Ned Nwoko, in a statement through his communication lead, dismissed claims of chatting with Regina, insisting that he does not want her back in his house.

Nwoko also claimed that Regina’s allegations of drugs and sex against him are false and can never be substantiated.

The Senator attributed Regina Daniels’ series of social media posts to the continuous influence of hard drugs.

According to him, his last WhatsApp conversation with the movie star contains his expression of frustration and ultimatum of return to rehabilitation or he will no longer fund her lifestyle.

However, Regina, after the message, became violent and berserk, destroying cars and properties.

Nwoko also referenced a video Regina posted online, which captured him using the bathroom, stressing that he was shocked the clip was posted on social media.

The Senator added that Regina was doing well with her rehabilitation until her birthday, when she engaged in hard drugs with her friends for four days.

Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has warned that she is prepared to reveal explosive details about her estranged husband, Ned Nwoko, including alleged involvement in a murder case, fraud, land-grabbing, and other issues she claims were concealed through the use of wealth and influence.

Regina, in a series of posts via Instagram Stories on Monday, said she is only respecting Nwoko because he is the father of her children.

The movie star insisted that Senator Ned Nwoko introduced her to ecstasy drugs (Molly), which she said helped their sex life.

According to her, Ned loves his women wild and erotic, stressing that her estranged husband often takes viagra to improve his performance during sex with his women.

Regina Daniels also claimed to have rushed Ned to the hospital a few times after he became unconscious as a result of taking the sex enhancement drugs.

The thespian warned that if he does not leave her alone, she will spill his secrets.

She wrote, “Ned, can you actually leave me alone ?? Why are you trying so hard to ruin me publicly and privately, because you know in my part of the world, a good reputation equals money. Don’t forget the media loves entertainment and I am an entertainer but I’m tiredddd !! You trapped my life since 17 so this is me fighting for my freedom. I still have a long way to go and you are almost done ! Because I damaged myself by saying I took drugs you are trying to accumulate nonsense ?.

“You introduced me to the drugs esctasy (Molly) just to be able to satisfy you and that’s the only drug I know off which reduced the rape because it made our sexual life wild and that’s how you love your women “wild and erotic” while you took viagra hence your frequent blood pressure spike. Remember I have rushed you to the hospital countless times because of same reason.

“Thank God your onye ocha coke addict wife accepted to taking drugs but very foolisj to say I taught her bit I understand her foolishness as a pick me wife and wannabe. 17 years old me that met a pattern in the house can only follow and not change. coming with fake drug report just becayse you want to take custody of my kids is insane and demeaning of your personality.

“Hearing from your number one loyalist in your camp (camp wey don scatter) as old as you are you are forming camp against 24years old me. You have been calling me a drug head, then leave me alone ! Saying I need rehab is just your way oftrying to discredit me in getting my kids and because you thought would blackmail you with what I know.

“But I’m still giving you the last respect as the father of my kids with everything that has happened and what you’ve covered up with money… if you don’t leave me alone I’m going to dig, spill everything whether murder case, land grabbing, fraud etc…as the father of my kids, I know health-wise you are not sound and I don’t want to send you to your early grave.”

Senator Ned Nwoko, who represents Delta North, has issued a statement affirming the authenticity of circulating medical reports about his wife, actress Regina Daniels, which allege substance abuse.

The statement posted on the Senator’s Instagram page on Saturday, and signed by his Communication Team lead, was to address the controversy that erupted after one of the implicated hospitals previously denied issuing the document.

Tori News reports that Serenity Royale Hospital in Abuja denied an alleged medical report claiming that actress Daniels has been battling severe substance abuse.

The viral report, signed by the hospital’s Managing Director and Head of Clinical Services, Adekunle Adesina, purportedly stated that Daniels was diagnosed with a substance use disorder and placed on a home-based detox programme starting September 24, 2025.

However, the statement shared by Nwoko on Saturday claimed that the medical reports are “genuine” and explained the position of the hospital.

“A medical report concerning Regina Nwoko has been circulating online. The reports are genuine,” the statement read.

“The rehabilitation centre only clarified that it did not publish or circulate the documents, which is expected because medical institutions must protect client confidentiality. They did not deny authoring the reports; their concern is the leak itself.”

The post urged the public to read the full reports, which, according to the Senator’s team, clearly explain the situation.

“The public is encouraged to read the full reports, because they explain the situation clearly and directly. Both the toxicology report and the Serenity Hospital report confirm the presence of the same substances, all at levels that pose serious health risks: Marijuana, Cocaine, Morphine, Opiates at extremely elevated levels, Alcohol at a critically dangerous level.”

The statement went further to reference a Nizamiya Hospital report, saying, ” The Nizamiya Hospital report dated 3rd October adds an even more troubling detail. She was brought into the hospital unconscious from a drug overdose. These facts are documented, consistent, and deeply alarming.

“The reports also describe the challenges the rehabilitation centre faced, including persistent interference from her siblings. They openly stated that they do not see anything wrong in giving her alcohol and weed, even while she was undergoing rehabilitation, and they have continued enabling her substance use.

“Their actions made effective treatment impossible and remain one of the major reasons she has not been able to complete rehabilitation.”

The post went on to suggest that the actress’s current online behaviour reflects these struggles, adding that the Senator is insisting on therapy because “several of Regina’s recent decisions are not coming from a stable and healthy frame of mind.”

It read, “Many have questioned why the Senator is insisting on therapy. His determination comes from the clear reality that several of Regina’s recent decisions are not coming from a stable and healthy frame of mind.

“She is vulnerable, unprotected, and exposed to individuals who exploit her for personal gain. Her online behaviour reflects her current struggles, and she tends to listen more to public voices than to medical professionals or her husband.”

It claimed that private attempts to help her did not succeed, and given the severity of the substances detected and the documented hospital emergency, “it is no longer an issue that can be handled quietly.”

Insisting that the reports are genuine, the statement concluded, “At this point, the question becomes: must we wait until Regina reaches a point of irreversible harm before we support her, encourage her to stop substance abuse, and help her commit to rehabilitation.

“The reports are authentic. The hospitals and rehabilitation centres did not leak them. The findings speak for themselves. Regina needs consistent treatment, support, and protection. Not denial, not interference, and not enabling. She is a mother, and she deserves the chance to regain her health and stability.”

Recall that Daniels had previously reacted to Nwoko’s claims, admitting to past drug use but insisting that her drug use was not the root of their marital issues.

Regina dismissed her estranged husband’s allegations as exaggerated, manipulative, and designed to tarnish her image.

She also alleged that Nwoko encouraged her drug use for his satisfaction and accused him of isolating her by targeting her friends and family.
