Nollywood actress and content creator Kiekie has explained why she chooses not to share photos or videos of her husband on social media.
The mother of one said her decision is deliberate and tied to how she manages her online presence.
The actress made the clarification during an interview with media personality, Chude Jideonwo, on his show, where she addressed questions about her private life and marriage.
Kiekie stated that she is not hiding her husband from the public but simply chooses not to feature him on her Instagram page.
According to her, the page mainly serves as a platform for her work, including comedy skits, brand promotions and other professional activities.
She explained that her husband is not involved in her online business, which is why she prefers to keep that part of her life off the platform.
She said, “I’m not hiding my husband, I just don’t feel the need to put him on Instagram.
“My instagram is my business page and my husband is not part of my business.”
Kiekie got married to her husband, Shonaola Ilori, in February 2020.
The couple later welcomed their first child, a daughter, in November 2022.
Kiekie is known for her energetic comedy skits, fashion content and acting roles, and has grown into one of Nigeria’s popular online entertainers.
