I Am Done, I Quit Pageantry – Chidimma Adetshina Announces

Miss Universe runner-up, Chidimma Adetshina has stated that she’s quitting pageantry.
The beauty queen stated this during a recent interview with Silverbird TV.
The model said she was quitting pageantry for personal reasons and relocating to Nigeria from her estranged country, South Africa.
She said, “Finishing in the top 2 [at the Miss Universe competition] is still a shocker for me… Honestly, I am done. Pageantry was a real traumatic experience for me.
 
“People still don’t understand how I felt. There were times when I almost quit during the Miss Universe contest. I’m really done with pageantry. I want to focus on myself and establish who I am. And forward my education as well.”
After finishing as 1st runner-up at the Miss Universe competition, Adetshina was named Miss Universe Africa and Oceania
She won Miss Nigeria after withdrawing from the Miss South Africa contest after she attracted scrutiny over her nationality.

Chidinma Adetshina Reportedly Receives $100,000, $3M Diamond-Encrusted Crown, Others

After finishing as runner-up in the 2024 Miss Universe contest, Chidinma Adetshina has reportedly pocketed $100K, a $3M diamond-encrusted crown, and other notable prizes.
Recall that the Nigerian was praised online after she finished as the first runner-up at the 2024 Miss Universe pageant in Mexico, with Victoria Kjaerbøll Thiesen declared winner.
Her impressive performance earned her some notable prizes according to investigative journalist, David Hundeyin.
He revealed this while replying a South African who mocked Chidinma for not winning the contest.

Chidimma Adetshina Named Miss Universe Africa, Oceania

Chidimma Vanessa Adetshina Nigeria’s representative, has been named Miss Universe Africa and Oceania at Miss Universe 2024.

Adetshina finished second behind Miss Denmark, Victoria Kjaer Theilvig at the 73rd Miss Universe Competition held in Mexico.

As the first runner-up, she was named Miss Universe Africa and Oceania.

She is now Miss Universe Nigeria, Africa and Oceania.

She is the first Miss Universe Nigeria to make it to the top 2 on the global stage.

Adetshina won Miss Nigeria after withdrawing from the Miss South Africa contest after she attracted scrutiny over her nationality.
