Beauty Tukura, a former participant on Big Brother Naija, expressed her joy over her victory at the 10th Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA), which took place at the Eko Hotel and Suites in Lagos yesterday.
The former Miss Nigeria, who snagged the Best Dressed Female Award for the second consecutive year, boasted that she would keep winning the category “until further notice.”
Sharing a picture of herself with her award via Instagram, Beauty wrote, “Still Best Dressed 2023/2024… until further notice #AMVCA10.”
Another Big Brother Naija reality star, Venita Akpofure, won the Best Dressed Female award for the second year in a row at the 10th AMVCA Cultural Day and Opening Night celebration on Friday.
Meanwhile, recall that ‘Breath of Life’ was the biggest winner at the 10th AMVCA, scooping six awards, including Best Movie, Best Director (BB Sasore), Best Lead Actor (Wale Ojo), Best Supporting Actor (Ademola Adedoyin), Best Supporting Actress (Genoveva Umeh), and Trailblazer (Chimezie Imo).
Surprisingly, Funke Akindele’s record-breaking film, ‘A Tribe Called Judah’ was snubbed.
‘A Tribe Called Judah’ lost all five nominations despite becoming the first Nigerian movie to gross over N1 billion in cinemas last December.
