Autopsy Rules Out Food Poisoning In De@th Of Nollywood Crew Members At Movie Location In Lekki

Preliminary autopsy findings for the two crew members discovered de@d at a movie production site in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos, have ruled out food poisoning as the cause of de@th.

The autopsy, it was gathered, revealed that one of the deceased, Walter Odediran, 36, who was a cinematographer, did not have any food in his stomach, while his childhood friend, Godstime Imeh, a Lighting Director and Chief Officer of GeeTee Light, had only a small amount.

Recall that on February 7, 2026, the lifeless bodies of the duo were discovered inside a Nissan car owned by Imeh, parked within the premises of Evercare Hospital, where a movie was being filmed.

Sources said pathologists, who conducted the autopsy found little or no food in the victims’ stomachs.

“In one case, the stomach was empty, while the other contained only a small amount of food. It was almost as if he hadn’t eaten anything,” a source said, per Vanguard.

To determine the exact cause of d£ath, additional tests on blood and tissue samples, as gathered, would be conducted to ascertain whether the victims ingested or inhaled any harmful substances prior to their d£aths.

Confirming this, Walter Odediran’s elder brother, Kola Odediran, said the preliminary autopsy results were delivered to the family, yesterday, Feb. 18.

He said: “The autopsy itself is complete, and no food was found in my late  brother. The results indicate he did not eat anything. But they are going to carry out toxicology and histology tests, which will provide the definitive answers we are looking for.”

The results of these additional tests are expected to take between two and three weeks.

Relatives of the deceased expressed hope that the upcoming tests would shed light on the mysterious circumstances surrounding the tragic incident.

Nigerian Actress, Georgina Ibeh Recounts Ordeal After Recovering Hacked YouTube Channel (Video)

Nollywood actress Georgina Ibeh has shared her experience after hackers took over her YouTube channel, leading to its temporary suspension.

In a video posted on her Instagram page, Ibeh said she received an email from YouTube on February 9 notifying her that her channel had been taken down.

The actress, owner of Georgina Ibeh TV on YouTube, described the development as distressing but said she deliberately chose to remain calm and prayerful.

She explained that after days of seeking direction, she felt led to check the channel again. On doing so, she discovered that it had been restored but had been taken over by unknown individuals who were using the platform to promote political content.

Ibeh later received another email from YouTube confirming that full control of the channel had been returned to her.

Reflecting on the incident, she said her composure during the crisis stemmed from a lesson she learned three years ago on the need to stay calm in chaotic situations.

She wrote, “My YouTube channel got hacked on the 9th of February at 1:22 pm. I am Georgina Ibeh, and I am the owner of Georgina Ibeh TV on YouTube.

“On the 9th of February, at 1:23 am, I was nursing my baby to sleep, and I got an email. I opened it, and it says, ‘We have removed your channel from YouTube ‘

“I asked myself, “What did I press?” Or what did I do? I thought it was one of those spam messages or scammers. Apparently, someone hacked into my YouTube account and used it on Live. The person removed my name and replaced it with ‘Fox Live’. I didn’t know what to do; I wanted to panic, but I told myself to calm down.

“I just told God to help me because I didn’t know what to say. One spirit just told me to go check my YouTube channel. I quickly went to YouTube, dialled up my channel, and it popped up. The scammer used my channel to upload political content. Yesterday, my YouTube manager said we’ve gotten our channel, but we need YouTube to authorise us. We waited, and I got an email saying my channel has been recovered. Just say congratulations”.

“MY TESTIMONY. In the midst of chaos, I always try to stay calm. Learnt that 3 years ago. Please help me say, “Congratulations & Thank you, Jesus.”

Gunmen Storm Palace, K!ll Ondo Monarch In Failed Abduction Attempt

Suspected armed bandits have k!lled Oba Kehinde Falodun, the Alagamo of Agamo community, in a violent attack on his palace in Akure North Local Government Area, Ondo State.

The attackers, reportedly about 10 in number, were said to have stormed the monarch’s residence on Wednesday evening in what residents described as an attempted abduction of the royal father and members of his household.

According to the Olori, who narrowly escaped, the gunmen initially attempted to whisk the monarch away but encountered resistance before the situation escalated.

“The bandits just came and started shooting. They were about 10. Three stayed at the entrance while others came inside. I ran into the bush. They shot at me, but it did not affect me,” she said.

She added that when the kidnappers failed to subdue the monarch, they resorted to violence.

“They kept dragging my husband, and I kept shouting for help. Later, they hit something on his head and stomach. He has been k!lled,”she said.

Confirming the incident on Thursday, the spokesman for the Nigeria Police Force in Ondo State, DSP Abayomi Jimoh, said the command received distress information around 7:50 p.m. from a community leader.

He said about six armed men invaded the palace, forcefully took the monarch from his compound, and fled.

“The victim was later found a few metres away with gunshot wounds. He was confirmed de@d at the scene,” Jimoh stated.

He disclosed that the Divisional Police Officer, alongside tactical teams, immediately mobilised officers and local security groups, including Amotekun Corps, hunters, and Atuluse vigilantes, to comb nearby bushes in search of the attackers.

According to him, surveillance has been intensified across the area while efforts continue to track and apprehend the suspects.

“The Command assures residents that no stone will be left unturned in bringing those responsible to justice,” he added.

Meanwhile, elders and traditional chiefs in Agamo have condemned the k!lling, describing the late monarch as a peace-loving leader who played a major role in resolving disputes and promoting development in the community.

A community leader, who asked not to be named, said the attack has created fear and a leadership vacuum.

“This is a painful loss to us. Kabiyesi was very close to the people. We appeal to government and security agencies to act fast and ensure those behind this are arrested,” he said.

The incident adds to growing security concerns in the state, where kidnappings, attacks on farmers, and assaults on rural communities have increased in recent months.
