Roy Keane Blames Two Man United Star for Most Recent Loss.

After the humiliating 6-3 Premier League loss to Manchester City on Sunday, Manchester United icon Roy Keane criticized midfielders Scott McTominay and Christian Eriksen.

The two had clumsy passes, according to Keane, and their poor performances contributed to the big loss at the Etihad.

The 22-year-old teammates Phil Foden and Erling Haaland each scored three goals to hand their local rivals their second-heaviest loss under Erik ten Hag.

Although Anthony’s lone goal and Anthony Martial’s brace restored some of United’s lost pride, they were unable to prevent Pep Guardiola’s team from winning all three games.

Eriksen and McTominay appeared to be absent from the field as Bernado Silva and Kevin De Bruyne controlled the midfield, maintained possession, and generated opportunities.

On Sky Sports, Keane stated: “…it’s been easy for them [Man City],”

“As poor as Man United have been, their passing has been sloppy, there are gaps everywhere, McTominay and Eriksen have been pulled everywhere. I can’t believe how bad Manchester United have been.

“It could get a lot worse, You’re Man United, you can’t get too embarrassed.”
