Amaka Mbah, a recently evicted Big Brother Naija (Level Up) housemate, has stated that, contrary to what some of her fellow housemates have claimed, she is not insensitive.
“I wasn’t being insensitive in the house,” she said in an interview with Saturday Beats. “I only acted on the basis of my conscience.”
When asked about the fights she had in the house, Amaka stated that she was simply being herself and was not looking for controversy. “It wasn’t easy being in the house,” she explained. I had fights (with other housemates) and was depressed. I had no idea what was going on outside, so it couldn’t have been a deliberate strategy on my part.”
Amaka expressed her dissatisfaction with Bryan, claiming that he was deliberately trying to provoke her. “I tried to manage the issue between me and Bryan,” she explained, “but I felt he was trying to get a reaction from me.” He kept making annoying noises and saying that I was emotionally unintelligent while I was explaining something to the housemates, which irritated me.” Amaka responded to Kess’s earlier statement that she was an insensitive person, saying, “From my own understanding, we are different people, and perhaps we misunderstood each other.” But I wasn’t being impolite. Everyone has an opinion, and if that is his opinion of me, I have no problem with it.”
The ex-BBN contestant also stated that she did not have any specific highlights during her time on the show because each day was different. “I didn’t have specific highlights in the house because there were drams every day,” she explained. For me, every day was memorable.”
Amaka claimed that she was dealing with a lot when it came to her perceived nonchalant attitude, especially during the tasks.
