Rita Dominic, a well-known actress from Nigeria, has spoken out about how a gang of marketers used their power to bar her from the film business because she was attempting to operate differently.
She said that the marketers, who were then regarded as the Nollywood film industry’s mini-gods, had banned her from the company in a video posted on Joy997fm’s official Instagram page.
She claimed in her statement, “I was secretly barred before I decided to become a producer and start our company.
“Because they were Nollywood’s mini-gods, marketers silently banned me from the industry.”
“I just thought it got to a point where it is best to talk to their management about it if you want to acquire the services of an actor.” “They banned me because I was trying to do things differently.”
