The United Arab Emirates after a meeting has agreed that it would grant a 10-year gold visa to all PhD holders, physicians, engineers in the fields of computer engineering, electronics, programming, electricity and biotechnology. It was also added that graduates from UAE accredited universities with 3.8 GPA and above would benefit from this new update.
This disclosure was made known to the general public on Sunday, November 15 by the vice president of UAE and ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. It was later reported that this decision was accepted by the UAE cabinet and its aim was to retain professional from different field of study.
This benefits were also open to various categories of intellect like those with specialised degrees in artificial intelligence, big data, or epidemiology and virology and also UAE high school graduates who performed exceptionally.
This announcement was made by Sheik Mohammed on twitter, He said:
“Brothers and sisters, we approved today a decision to grant the 10-year golden visa to residents in the following categories: all PHD holders, all physicians, engineers in the fields of computer engineering, electronics, programming, electricity and biotechnology, graduates from UAE accredited universities who scored Grade Point Average, GPA, of 3.8 and above.”
