The top two from all eight groups will head into the knockout stages, keeping their dreams alive of lifting the giant trophy on 30 May in Istanbul. Ahead of the final week’s fixtures there are already seven teams guaranteed to be in the last 16, with nine to be filled on Tuesday and Wednesday evening. No teams from the same country can be drawn against each other in the last 16.

The draw for the first knockout round will take place on Monday 16 December in Nyon at 11am UK time.
The first legs will be played on 18/19/25/26 of February, with the second legs played on 10/11/17/18 of March. The quarter-finals begin on 7 April and the semi-finals get underway on 28 April before the final being played on 30 May.
