The Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) unit which was disbanded few days ago after Nigerians took to the streets to announce their displeasure towards the operation of the unit has now been replaced with SWAT (Special Weapons and Tactics).

After the announcement, lots of Nigerians didn’t take this lightly as they want a complete end to any unit pertaining to the SARS unit. They added that the new unit would still contain same bad officers that made life unbearable for citizens.

Protest against police brutality and end of SARS continues in some states as protesters claims they aren’t stopping until their demands are met.
