
The former Manchester United midfielder required medical attention during Ajax’s game against Hertha Berlin and appeared in pain, even pointing to his chest momentarily.
Blind was diagnosed with a heart condition earlier this year and fitted with a subcutaneous implantable cardioverter defibrillator (S-ICD system) to combat his health issues and was cleared to return to training and playing football.
Blind went down in the penalty box and his team-mates immediately signalled to the bench he needed assistance.

Ajax are set to start the Dutch Eredivisie season on Sunday, September 13, but Blind’s participation could now be in doubt following his latest health scare.
